No .Genuine question as I am very new to punting. Only one punt so far. A covered bj from a girl who does no longer advertise (Reyna). So I genuinely wish to know the likelihood off real violence occuring.

I´d say its very rare. On the occasions I´ve heard of, mainly on forums, the WG involved is usually finished as no one will go near her.

I reported recently on being scammed and the more I reflect on that I wish that I had dealt out some violence - to the bloke and not the girl!!  I know the sensible thing was to back off but it is bloody annoying to be ripped off.

Yes, but not strictly a punt. I was 'hanging around' with a WG a few years ago so spent a bit of time round at her place. One night we decide to go out. Her flat had quite a big window out to the corridor and I could see a couple of dudes outside with the or hoods pulled over their heads. Before I could say fuck all she had the door opened and in piles 5 or 6 dudes. To be fair to her they were coming in anyway as they had small crow bars to force their entry.  Their lead guy just kept repeating, 'Where's da money'. They were quite menacing (although no physical violence took place) and one of them was sporting a gun which I like to think was some replica bollocks. I nearly shat/pissed myself. They turned the flat upside down in the pursuit of the cash.  At one stage I thought she was going to get away with it as she had £5k in an envelope on the settee.  They found it though and also made off with my and her Laptop but they missed the iPhones and Blackberry. Fucking great night that was putting her flat back together. In hindsight funny as they emptied three boxes (ie cash and carry type boxes) of condoms all over the place.

About 20 mins later the Flat security arrived as somebody had reported a 'disturbance'. I played dumb but they new as they could see into one bedroom and it looked a right mess. Probably thought it was a domestic?

Clearly some previous dodgy punter tipped these dudes off about location. She was adamant she knew who it was but you can't tell. They weren't interested in credit or bank cards but lifted the £40 I had in my wallet. This all took place at about 8pm so in my head she could well have been with a punter. Can you imagine that, stark bollock naked and 5 dudes burst in, not exactly the role play you had in mind.

I still look back and think how I, a soft as shit, middle class white collar worker managed to get into this shit.

For the violence, I haven't during my time but I am always careful, the chances of being robbed are increased on this hobby then say playing chess. If you plan each punt well, ie - do your research on AW + here, use the Punting Guidelines, find out as much as you can and make judgement calls and you'll be safe. You might still get a shit punt but you'd be extremely unlikely to be robbed and even in robberies, stories I hear the punter wouldn't be harmed unless they refused to hand over money...I treat the idea of being robbed in these situations as I would do in my office...keep calm, give them the money quickly and quietly without hassle and then soon as they go phone the police.

Despite fact I think there is only a one in a few thousand chances of me being robbed considering the care I take, I still have a few rules just in case. Take only exact change, only take what you need, punting phone should be something cheap like a £9 pay as you go disposable. If you plan to go eat after, leave your wallet hidden out of sight in the car. If you drive, park a few minutes away not straight outside, though some girls will invite you to park on their property if you don't feel comfortable, don't listen to them (though most do it so they know you're not a timewaster). As mentioned don't take any jewellery, expensive items and such - I always say to myself if I do get robbed, I won't lose much: Cheap phone and price of the punt. Of course they could take your car keys but you parked 5 minutes around the corner, they're looking for a Ford across several streets, could be any vehicle, why would they waste time looking for it when they want to flee the crime scene - Most robbers won't bother going this far I'd wager.

Many years ago when I first started punting, I rung a number from a phone box and was told the address to go to. The WG was happy to see myself and a mate so we knocked at the door and was met by an awful looking woman. Certainly not the hot 20yo as she described herself as. My mate made the excuse of leaving the wallet in the car and as he went to leave she grabbed him in and called for, I assume the pimp or boyfriend to get the baseball bat. I managed to pull my mate out of the door and we legged it down the road to my car with some bloke behind us. Managed to escape but often wonder what could have happened.

A couple of times things threatened to get violent. Once I went to a pornstar house near Gatwick airport, lovely place with gated entrance. Punt was shit, but no problems inside during punt, but afterwards, I was in my car taking my time to leave as I was setting my sat nav and her fella came out of nowhere (he knew what she did) and smashed my window with his fist, fortunately not breaking it but hard enough to make it shake in its hinges. He was god gape shit that I was over staying my time!!!!!!

I have this weakness where I can't back down in front of women, and although she wasn't there at that moment the thought of scurrying off didn't appeal, so I got out of car and gave him some verbals. Lots of head jousting and verbals ensued, I was getting really pumped with adrenalin before I eventually fucked off quicker than you can say boo. Reason being she came round the corner with the biggest fucking dog of all time, this massive black Doberman with brown face that was snarling and had saliva dripping off its teeth.

I absolutely shit myself and in hindsight Id have saved more face just driving off when wanker came out

reading threads like this you wonder why on earth we risk it, especially as sometimes we are paying loads for a shit punt - with the risk of violence etc.

My family used to question why I went climbing given the risks, I wonder whether there is a similar equation going on, that we actually like the thrill of a meeting with a new girl because of that possibility of danger.  With climbing you do your best to minimise risks by careful planning, proper equipment and the like (which is like the punting routines mentioned here) but you can never eliminate the risk.

I have enough girls I know now that I could have a fairly varied time with them and pretty much eliminate the risk (although not quite as I was scammed by one I had seen several times) but I still have a go with new ones - is that a need for the thrill of the risk.

Only punting related violence I've experienced is to a WG not the other way around. A regular had to cancel last minute as she was robbed at knife point. I literally turned up to find an ambulance and multiple police cars in attendance.

Fortunately she didn't have much cash but the guy attempted to steal her personal iPhone which had all of her family and friends details in so she resisted and got stabbed multiple times. She was lucky not to be killed.  Perp was eventually tracked down and was arrested and convicted for multiple violent crimes and got put inside.  I personally hope he's getting gang raped on a daily basis. 

We all know punting is not without its risks but I'd say the risk of violence against you is a very minor one. All sorts of things you can do to limit your exposure - like only visit escorts who are well reviewed here, never carry any unnecessary valuables with you, and just generally keeping on your toes especially when visiting an area that's unknown / a bit rough etc.
