Based on a similar thread on the SW board i spotted over the weekend. I thought I would take a look at our own SE list. I must admit its something i've rarely used mainly because I forget it exists so generally just stick to the general punching in of the AW ID here but is still a useful tool. It looks like only 1 person (Steeley_Dan) has been updating the list and I guess has gotten a bit behind (or like me forgets of its existance) so have been adding new wgs and moving broken links out of the way over the last couple of days. Makes you realise just how much of a desert some areas of the SE are... Anyway fill your boots!!!

Appreciate your efforts, but as a manual and labour intensive process it will always be out of date. I thought I read that Admin had some ideas on a more automated system but of course that's subject to his available time, his desire to do it and the complexity of the task.

Of course the more automated it can be made the better it will be but thats outside my boundary of knowledge im affraid. In the meantime if more people were to contribute to it then it wouldnt take much to be kept up to date. Depends how many people find it useful, have the knowledge and actively want to get involved I guess...

It's a great intention, but seems to me to be pushing sand uphill. Even the regular girls on there move around a lot, I cannot see it being current no matter what effort is put in. Also remember SE is a vast area with dozens of local punting hotspots and notspots so you'd need a fair number of volunteers well spread around.

Thats why some are listed as touring. Maybe it needs a seperate category...

Depends if people only want to update their own region or not? Doesnt take much to notice when a new positive review pops up to have a
quick look to see if the wg is already on the list and if she is that her details are correct? Are people now not already doing something similar indexing reviews, updating titles etc? Obviously updating the wiki page is slightly more complex so like I said it just depends on if people find it useful, have the knowledge and want to do it or not.
