+1 - some of the best punts i've had are when this forms part of a day.  Rather than being the sole purpose of the excursion.  With some planning i've had the odd hour followed up by some business meeting [which generally seem to go well - probably coz i'm relaxed] or a lash up with my mates.  Ideal

Whenever I travelled far for a punt (which is nowhere near 330 miles.... The furthest I've travelled for a punt is probably near 200 miles), I always picked the girl with good feedback, and then made an advance booking a few days before (or 3 weeks in advance with one particular escort). On the whole, those punts turned out quite well.

There was one occasion where I did book an escort in Norwich on the very day (this was only because a meet I booked in advance in Bristol was cancelled) because I wanted to punt. Norwich is over 100 miles from Leicester. I went there and it was a disaster (Plan B punts are generally underwhelming for me anyway).

i have seen this girl. she is a nice girl and she has a great body. Yep, this is currently my plan! Got a week off work coming up, and being free and single I'm taking myself off on a little road trip, staying in some interesting places I've not visited before - and conveniently ending up on the south coast some 230 miles away from home, which just so happens to be where a certain lady on my Hotlist lives.
