Its that time of the year when the wives demand the husbands take a week off work to look at the screaming siblings who by Wednesday have run riot through the house, pained the dog, ate 20 of Mummies contraceptive pills and 10 of Daddies viagra along with 6 cat biscuits.....

Anyway, the ladies who give us please see this time of year as a quiet time and even more so during half term so look out for a few price reductions

Offline Dipper

Or alternatively, the ones that can only operate ‘during office hours’ become unavailable.  Leaving many sacks bursting to empty :D

Everyone to their own but IMO this is not realistic.   :hi:

This is the more realistic option.

Surely, most of the younger W.G.s are also too busy looking after their own screaming offspring

They're out there

February is the grimmest month of the year for sexwork earnings.  I have lowered my one hour rate from £120 to £100 for the remainder of February and this is bearing fruit.

It's been an excellent week for me thanks to reducing my 1 hour from £120 to £100.
I will keep that price running until March.

How long have you been a sex worker?

Overreact much?

It was a light hearted question. You posted as if you were talking about yourself.

I can't be arsed doing anything this time of year. Don't most people just hunker down before emerging for Spring? It's why the awards season is now: nobody goes out to cinema or theatre or to gigs so you get BAFTAs, Oscars, Brits, Tonys etc etc to try and drum up some enthusiasm in a time of year that is dead/flat for most businesses. Escorting can't really be any different - it must be pretty quiet for them too right now.

Offline davidgood

I am not aware of any half term bargains being available.

All school holidays reduce the amount of MILFS avaibable for business.

This week I had hoped to fit in a meeting around a business trip to an SPs area but the lady is not available this week as it is half term and she has young kids.

Regards,

davidgood

Agreed.

In my experience, most escorts with children are single mothers.  Therefore, far from half-term being a time for "bargains", it's a time when they have to reduce escorting, or indeed stop altogether.  Ditto the school holidays.

Exactly how I feel at this time of year. Suffering from SAD; lacking motivation; cold nuts. Just cannot be bothered punting until the spring.

The only plus-point out of that, VA, is that quite a few SPs who no longer have kids of school age - maybe not your first choice of SP? - feel they have to offer discounts because business is so slow.

But surely, HA, if the single mothers with children are off for the half-term week, there should logically be more work for the mothers with older children, for whom half-term isn't an issue?  And therefore there should be no reason for these "older" mothers to be offering discounts?

Offline Home Alone

I know what you're saying, VA, but Iwas thinking of a number of other factors to be taken into account: many of the SPs - e.g. MILFs/GILFs who aren't affected by family members being off school - aren't necessarily the most popular with say, younger punters; post-Christmas credit card bills just been paid;  etc.

Offline Happylad

I`m usually too busy drinking my Christmas Presents to think about punting in February (January I`m usually too busy drinking everybody else`s Christmas Presents).

Be cheerful that many of us out here don't have your life. Public transport is devoid of the sad bastards who do what their wives tell them so it's quite pleasant going to work. In terms of bargains, I don't see it myself, though London may be unique. As others have pointed out, a certain segment of the market goes dark since their own kids are off and, whilst there is probably a post Xmas lull effect in January/February, I assume punters in London still want to punt since I've not seen any price drops. If anything, rates are still increasing.
