Only the police can get your phone records or find your address via your PC. If the threats have stopped then ignore it but if they carry on take them to the police. They do take it seriously and if you have enough proof for them they will happily either prosecute, if not they may give a warning or set up restitution if you want it. I would want the warning and restitution just so they had to sit in front of me and not only apologise but try to explain why they did it whilst I gloated at them
However if you have a partner that might not be an option so a quiet warning may be better

Something similar happened to me a couple of years ago, when I walked on a bait-and-switch and her pimp tried to chase me down the road.  Fortunately I had already flagged down a taxi so avoided a potentially physical confrontation.  An hour or two later I started receiving abusive messages and calls on my punting phone, so I just diverted all calls to Saville Row police station lol.  I only had around £10 on the PAYG account so wasn't really bothered about losing the number!

Yes it's:

I hope that works.

Thanks for the heads up. Shit photos. How does she get any work? looks like a facebook profile.

Sounds like she's completely full of crap. Just ignore. She can't track you, and it's more trouble than it's worth for her to launch a smear campaign. Does she really have the time for that shit, considering you done nothing wrong. She's probably already forgotten about you.

You haven't heard of whois then.

They still need to subpoena your isp.

You haven't heard of whois then.

You can pay an additional fee to keep your name anonymous, even through Whois. (Although this can obviously be bypassed by legal means).

For looking up the registrant of a domain, or user of an IP address range you mean.
This would be useful to someone who has your IP address - i.e. AdultWork administrators, but not the pimp behind a profile on AdultWork.  Correct me if I am wrong.

Fuck me, yet more bullshit from a prossie.

I haven't looked at her profile (sounds like she's one to avoid anyway), but why would anybody try and see this skank knowing that if they cancel, for whatever reason, they'll be harassed like this.

How much of this shit goes on that we don't hear about? A lot I imagine.

First of all I wouldn't worry here.
Escorting is a cash business and any escort who demands a fee for a cancellation is not going to stop there

You can play her at her game by obtaining the bank details and using it against her or simply stop using the aw account and get another one.

Have you tried to ignore the emails? Did you use a spare phone? Work email?

She's not bad looking, if you like the girl next door type every now and then.

But she does Bareback which rings alarm bells.

Hi I am new here and I didn't know where to post this but I feel it is urgent.
So it involves the site adultwork.
I made a booking but had to cancel last minute - I did send a message to the girl telling her so.
However I received several emails and texts via the girl saying she wanted to be pay half of the fee because I didn't show up and she had to miss work. She also wanted me to do it via banking.
Anyways I ignored this because I thought she was a little crazy but it didn't end there.
I received an email from her telling me she would spread bad rumors about me on the site ( I don't mind that )

However I received an email from her "husband" saying that it won't go away unless I pay up and that they have an app that can track me.
Now I've been threatened online before - who hasn't - but not via phone before, so I am a little worried.
So what I want to ask is:
1. Can I really be tracked? Surely this is all bollocks right?
2. Should I really be worried? Are these just meaningless threats?
3. What can I do if these threats prove to be real? Can I go to the police? I don't want anyone to find out about this so I'm really worried if these threats prove to be real.

Thanks all.

one look at here tells me she is a cunt and a bare backer to boot tell the cunt you have aids and will be contacting the police as you believe she passed it on to you. tell her hubby to fuck off, no pics no proof.

FWIW.. Some while ago I suspected my then missus of sodding around with another and I had a mobile number and wanted to find out who he was so I could go round and demonstrate some fisticuffs to him;)..

However a mate of mine who worked in the mobile telecoms industy said that he could not trace his number as although it might have been a O2 number to start with it may well, as they do over time, be "Ported" to another supplier. He said that there were some people around he knew who could get  that info but they'd need their plams crossing with a lot of silver to get that. Other then that if it was that serious then the police could of course find out.

So..

I hardley expect they'd spend a lot of loot to for what?, to give you a pasting when that info would get on here and thats prolly a large number of possible customers who  would be pissed off so what would be they benifit in doing so?.

As others have said Tesco-> cheap PAYG unregisted phone and chuck away if need be..

Sorted:)..
