Author Topic: Once a brothel now a family home ( Maidenhead )  (Read 2395 times)

With a change of job I find myself now driving past a house that was a former brothel,  now a family home. Behind the Windsor Castle pub in Maidenhead.

I wonder if the current owners had any idea to the amount of shagging that took place in the 2ish years that place was a brothel,  I can't help have a smile on my face when I drive past  :yahoo:

A couple of boys I used to work with were frequent users of a Chinese brothel in wales.
One day they knocked the door expecting to see a lady and the Chinese had moved out.
The new house owner wasn’t amused. I found it funny as fuck when they told me  :D

Over the years there have been a number of houses around Reading which had been well-known brothels but were then sold on.  I then remember seeing notices in the front window of two of them.  Although I didn't go and press my nose up against the windows to read them, I imagine they might have politely pointed out to previous clients the change of ownership.

:hi:  I work for a rent refurb business this is more common than you`d think the letting agency has a standard polite card which it puts in the window and on door a long lines of....

Dear Gentlemen callers, the previous lady tennats have moved out and will not be returning please dont embaress yourself by knocking .

Smile please youre on CCTV. :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi:

Seems to do trick with the punters But the Sergis that are owed cash are still a problem we have had cases of them walking in shouting out girls names :( :(

This has been worrying for the new tennats who on several occassions have rung old bill... then complained in strongest terms (asked for discount on rent) :hi: :hi:

There's a detached house right on the main road through Bagshot in Surrey that used to have at least 3 girls working there every day years ago. Always have a smile to myself when I drive past.

The opposite is the infamous Sutton house, which was once a vicarage and now a party venue,or Eddie Davenport who used the ex Sierra Leone embassy as a party venue (though there may not be much difference between an embassy and a brothel)As groups of EE girls use many houses in London, this scenario of once a brothel is quite common.

Be a laugh if some guy goes to the door and says 'I'd like to stay for an hour please' and the new owner says well if you like, but I'm only doing the ironing!

Funnier still if someone goes to the vicarage in Sutton expecting religious guidance and gets a good whipping in the dungeon.

Many years ago I went on a stag weekend in Bournemouth, a hotel was booked that dealt with stag and hen parties, a big place that was in need of some doing up. In the taxi from the station to the hotel the chatty taxi driver asked why I'd chosen the hotel, I explained it was a stag weekend and I had nothing to do with the booking, he then explained that it had until recently been used for filming porn movies. He said he would often be ferrying all kinds of consenting adults too and from the place, we didn't see any of that but I did get my tongue down a bird's throat and a grope of her tits in a tacky nightclub.

I hear loads of these stories, can relate to these myself. Can think of about 10 places that used to be notorious brothels in my old neighbourhoods. Some have become actual shops others are just normal flats/houses now.

One location above a row of shops had the famous...this is not Brothel sign on the windows. Sign would be displayed after dark.

Another place was close to a pub, the new owners paid the pub landlord to display a message saying...so and so address is now family home. If anyone knocks on the door, you’ll have your picture taken and shared around town! Be warned.

And similar in Greater Manchester as Parlours go out of favour, although I'm not aware of signs such as below.

Ironic that a place that was used for sex now has a married couple and will see no more sex....

it's OK to take part in all sorts of shit and violence in Glasgow in the name of religion , but not  to walk in to a sauna and pay for a shag.

Slightly off-topic but this thread makes it seem that brothels/Parlours are getting as 'recycled' as closed-down pubs.

Two of my favourite SPs used to share a flat and gave the name of a Vets across the road from the flat as a guide as to where to start looking for a parking place.

I'd not been in the locality for years but was amused that the Vets used to be the Black Bull pub in which I'd had a pub from time to time in the 1990s.

I have turned up to look at a flat (we're looking at moment) and seen that I'd visited there once when it was a back of local newspaper ad Chinese brothel.

Smirk on my face when shown the main bedroom (quality punt with curvy young Singaporean).
