Mercure Hotel Exeter Southgate - Be careful

Admin...not so much a review, so apologies if in the wrong section, please feel free to move.

I contacted several Asian (Chinese) ads for Exeter on VS today, and one sounded different, unusually staying at the Mercure in Exeter, they usually run from apartments, she claimed to be western educated, and sounded very nice.

I think it was this ad, (not the pics though obviously) but i'm not 100% sure because i deleted everything from my phone, External Link/Members Only

Comms slow but ok, once parked room number given, no issues passing reception to the lifts.

Hide behind the door trick, but once inside, WOW!!! Stunning early 20's, cute as a button. paid the £120 for 1hr plus £20 for OWO

Straight into DFK, really GFE type, so not like normal Chinese punts.

Around 20mins in, heavy knock on the door and an obvious English male said "This is reception, its a welfare check, are you safe? open the door please", i've never lost a boner so fast!

The lady looked as shocked as me, she jumped up and dressed far quicker than i was managing too, she told me to stay in the room and opened the door and went out, pulling the door behind her.

From what i could hear, they were concerned a minor had been left in the room alone, and they wanted her ID, they kept asking if anyone else was in the room, she was cute as a button but obviously you could see she was in her 20's, she came back in and got her passport to show him, he then left.

She asked me to wait 3 mins and then leave, by now i was dressed and just wanted gone anyway, i asked for a refund on the 1hr to 1/2hr and she gave me that, if she hadn't i wouldn't of cared as i just wanted to get out.

It wasn't a scam, i'd had OWO, DFK, explored her body and cum, but the hotel are obviously very vigilant, i've never walked past a hotel reception and out the door so nervously!...although nobody seemed to take any notice of me.

So not a bad review of the lady, just a heads up on the hotel itself, shame, because i would happily of upgraded to 2hrs she was that nice!

Probably one for regional unless you add in the name of escort here. Sounds like someone was on to what she was doing, I’ve never heard of this before but I’m sure it must happen to escorts from time to time in hotels. I’m not a fan of visiting city centre hotels for tourers and prefer ones on the outskirts which tend to be more anonymous. I once visited an escort and there was a painter/ decorator in the hallway, he was positioned in such a way that he could see me going in and out of the escorts room, was daytime. No doubt he twigged the whole thing. And from the way he was staring I wasn’t the first! The perils of hotel tourers, still there is something of an adrenaline rush about hotel sex.

Thanks for the heads up on the location regardless. I sent a text out of curiosity after seeing the AW and got a response regarding a nearby private location. Half hour later I had a reply which I assumed they sent in error saying that the room number will be confirmed on arrival at the hotel. Wonder if the same person is handling comms for more than one provider.

I’m guessing the mood was completely killed and that was why you had to leave and couldn’t continue?

Never had this. I’ve always been nervous going past reception in hotels (but still do it). I try and establish where the lifts/stairs are before entering and then do that cringy thing where I make out I’m on a phone call and don’t make any eye contact with any staff

No, thats not her, they very rarely use real pics, but in the case of the lady i saw, they should!!

Re comms, i felt like i was talking to the actual provider, she knew what i wanted etc when i arrived, usually you have to run through it all again as its never passed on, but maybe its just a better organised arrangement they have. Her English was perfectly ok.

Exactly that, the fact the chap outside was asking about someone underage, even though the provider clearly wasn't, just sounded alarm bells and i wanted gone, for all i know police could of been there 30minutes later to do more checks.

This could have something to do with "Hotel Watch" or "Operation Makesafe", Google them for more information but in summary some hotels have staff are trained to watch for signs of child exploitation, so older men checking in with younger looking girls arise suspicion for example, as does guests who appear secretive about their visit and adult guests insisting on paying in cash.

I don't know if hotels in Exeter take part in this but it's a possible explanation.
