One SP told me they stopped reading their AW emails as most of them were from guys being explicit so they could wank off.

I think many just can't be arsed and prefer the simplicity of texting or speaking over the phone to suss out potential clients.

Interesting point, though.

If I am trying to arrange a meet with a WG for the first time, I try calling initially and, if no response, (usually the case) I then send a text along the lines of  "Hi, just tried calling but got no reply.   Are you available . . . ."    If there is still no reply after an hour or two I send an AW email (not booking request) saying   " Hi, I tried calling and texting you earlier.   I would like to make a booking.   Are you available . . . ."     If there is no reply within a reasonable time or the email remains unopened then it is on to plan B.

I read his garbled post last night and couldn't be bothered to reply then, bed was more inviting.

Anyone who, at 68, describes himself as "old" doesn't sound like they are looking after themselves very well.

Anyone who describes themselves as an "old fucker" sounds like they have an attitude problem which is likely to come across in his emails etc with the ladies.

Although the OP didn’t write his initial post very well, too many girls seem to log on and never even read emails.. I’ve sent loads with no reply, many of which aren’t even read.

Some people can’t text all the time so email is a good discreet initial way to contact a girl

I find maybe half the emails i send are read but not replied to. It’s irritating when that’s the girl’s preferred contact method. How hard it could be to write a simple “sorry I’m not available” or whatever email I don't know.

What it comes down to I think is that some girls are professional and a lot aren’t. While the money’s rolling in I guess they don’t care. I know which group will get dusty telephones first though.

Regardless of whether you’re a builder or a prostitute you’ll get more business by being professional when you're contacted by potential clients. It’s business-101

Many emails are read and not replied to of mine. I do not let it bother me as I will just book someone else.

I have emailed some a second or third time and got a reply, so I put it down to them already being booked & not needing to reply to my email as the slot is already filled, which I can understand as if they have several emails like mine a day, it’s probably fucking tedious replying the same thing to every email.

Although we would all prefer a reply to all our emails. I don’t always get replies to my emails at work, and like at work I simply move on.

A regular of mine once showed me her inbox (not the contents of it, just the amount) and it was something like 87 and that was in one day, and from there my opinion changed. So I imagine if she had one slot to fill she then has to send 86 copy & paste messages, which is possible, but who wants to do that?

its the same on dating sites like POF, my now wife showed me her inbox one day and it was crazy how many guys where messaging her repeatedly  even if she didn't read the message she would still get messages from guys who previously messaged her.

I don’t know about POF but a lady I was chatting to on Fabswingers took a screenshot of her inbox before and sent it as an image in the message.

500+ messages!! Of course some would be multiple messages from the same impatient person but it was quite eye opening to see just how many messages women on that site get. And with seeing my regulars inbox I don’t doubt this happens on most sites.

It completely changed my opinion in regards to no replies. I now avoid the frustration of no replies by making sure I have a Plan B & C, sometimes D.

10 minutes is ambitious.

Even at work I wouldn’t do that, I’d be replying to the attractive offers personally.

I also don’t think the issue is that escorts aren’t replying to emails as a whole, but rather they’re not replying to the person talking about it the lack of reply.

Nobody bats an eyelid when WG’s say they don’t reply to “fancy a fuck” “u available now” emails.
But why? Surely if we are putting this down to professionalism she should be replying to ALL emails and not just the polite ones. I personally just move on if I don’t get a response. I may try later if I think she’s worth it.

I’ll add that the booking with the regular was early afternoon and her inbox was at 87, it no doubt increased later on into the day.

I find the unanswered e mail irritating when it's the preferred form of contact on a profile. I tend to book in advance, and if I allow a couple of days for a reply, and then move on to plan b and then c, it's easy for a week to pass with no progress made.

Its very hit and miss if you get a reply to an e-mail even when its the preferred contact method. In my case only about 40% success rate.
I used to get het up a bit because I like to get sorted in advance but now I make sure I have backups ready ( mainly chinese or massage parlours ) and
I am much more relaxed about it and it no longer bothers me if no reply.
I fired away 4 e-mails a fortnight ago with plenty of advanced notification for last weekend and one replied the night before it was requested which i took up and another arrived just today so it will be this weekends appointment now.
