What you should be feeling is excitement and anticipation - admittedly easy to mistake for nerves.  Easy enough to tell which you have once you're in the punt - if you can't get it up it's nerves, if you can it's excitement/anticipation.

It is my punt, my rules. Sometimes a few drinks makes me a crazy extrovert.  I undershtand that if I am swooring my wodrs twat shhe wont sea mee...  Just kidding on the drunk writing. Let me summarise my view:

Really too drunk = bad you wont remember.
A few drinks = why not, it is your pleasure.

This all assumes that there is no physical problem.  I have read all the material about alcohol leading to Mr floppy.  I'm sure this is true but at a basic "few drinks" level I have not had a problem. So for now a sex and drinks party is something I choose to do.

I think you need to try it and find what works for you OP.  I've had punts where I've been so pissed I could hardly get it up  - don't try that - it's just a waste of money!  Other times I've had a single pint or a shot beforehand.  Most of the time I don't drink before a punt but don't see any harm in a single drink.  Just make sure you use mouthwash before you meet your puntee.

Over the years I have frequently punted when shitfaced.

Not as a planned approach, but as a last minute idea as booze makes me horny as hell.

All I can say is it's resulted in a lot of shit punts and a few good ones that I can't remember as well as I would have liked.

That said, prior to discovering this site, sober punting didn't really occur to me.

Happy to say more than half of my punts are now sober and making some more sensible decisions, ie: if I can't find what I want, I leave it for another day.

On the Viagra front, I tried it once last year when I was pissed. It had no affect whatsoever to my cock on the punt, but an hour later I literally felt like I'd been clubbed over the back of the head with a baseball bat, so bad I fell over as I disembarked the train (and it definitely wasn't the booze).

15 hours later, erections on demand, but sadly I was sitting in the office by this point.

Not used it since, and will definitely approach with caution next time in terms of dose and timing, and definitely no booze.

The first WG I saw was saying how she was going to stop seeing pissed blokes late at night "who could never finish".  If it's at the weekend I'll probably have had a drink the lunchtime of a punt, but not immediately before.

The trouble is when you rely an alcohol to be able to produce the goods, applies to lots of other fields, so always good to make sure you can do it without any drinks even it you do do it with. 

I've twice taken bottles of wine to a punt, but coincidentally both times I've ended up being more or less offended afterwards - probably because that shows I was making more effort, which I then didn't feel was reciprocated.

Can't see any harm in it myself - though it's a case of what works for you - no harm in you finding out through trial and error IMO.

I must have punted sometimes when pissed when I was younger - though I've no specific memory of doing so - tbh I wouldn't have given any thought to it one way or the other. Certainly have never been turned away by a WG because of alcohol - though would struggle to remember ever being turned away by one for any other reason either - so long as I have the cash that's always been enough!

if I am seeing a girl from a escort agency who is a 'party girl' then I will drink beforehand as I find it quite fun and usually they will drink with me. Usually the max I will do is 5 or 6 that puts me in a fun loving light headed state rather than pissed. I tend to stick to alcohol which doesn't give you bad breath and have mints with me afterwards before the punt. Always on a out call.

Punted many a time after drinking in varying states from merry to totally hammered ,takes longer to come but that's not always a bad thing.

Parlours don't usually care as long as you don't cause trouble and behave , if I'm planning seeing an indie I explain that I'm seeing a few mates at a bar in town beforehand as this is my excuse to get out and punt so I will have had a few pints when we meet. Drinking may well steady the nerves, but detracts from the excitement.

When I am on my way to a punt, particularly a new one, I can feel the excitement - why would I want to steady it?
