Phone numbers are now only shown if you're logged in - otherwise you just get a row of asterisks

The way rates are going now I don't think charging punters would work out well. Not even sure why people are pissed about this, easy enough to register a free email address just for AW and never use it.

Laptop it's asterisks & takes you to the aw login page.
Mobile phone it's business as usual.
Wonder how long it will be before the SPs notice a huge drop in business & start kicking off?

ETA I expect a lot of punter's won't sign up for an account due to the risk of getting caught if they forget to delete the nice little bold type  'Login Detected from New Device or Location' messages aw send every time you log in.

You still get plenty of TW who are members. You would likely get a warning if you put your number within your profile.

As someone who's been an AW member for longer than I've been on UKP I have no personal objection to this – apart from the fact that their policy of logging you out every 20 minutes (it feels like five minutes) will now be even more annoying.

If they do try to charge for punters to get phone numbers , I give it 6 months before AW crashes and burns .

I've done exactly this since what 2017? There's no faffing about at all. Most people here will probably struggle to get a hard on in the time it takes to register. When I saw the thread title I thought it was going to be restricted to verified users only but if all you need is an accountbthrn thats minor. Thats nowt to worry about

If you look at the stats for this site, UKP, at any time there are at least twice as many guests as members viewing, and I'd guess that the stats for AW are not that much different, so its hard not to see this move by AW being catastrophic for SPs & Punters alike.
