WTF is going on with prices?

It's pointless comparing prices across regions people further North don't have the same desposable income as those from down South.
I'd say prices are up 10% in my region in the last 2 years but the worst change is the proliferation of new girls wanting £180 ph.
I set my cost cap and go without if nobody fits it I'm not paying over the odds.

I work for a UK company and they pay the staff the same salary no matter where you are in the UK. You she see some of the houses the people in Sheffield/Manchester buy with the prices you could buy a flat for down south - Have to say from the people I've spoken with they have a much better quality of life up north - Bloody cold though.
