I found on the party scene punters ranged from 20 to 80,were all nationalities and all types,in fact there were more young than old so average in this case was about 30.Alot of punters I encountered had O/Hs.

I would say the balance of punters, old to young in Off Topic, is far different from the balance elsewhere on the boards. And I think the 60yrs old threshold is surpassed by a smaller proportion of members than you think. Yes, there's plenty older than 60, and most of the guys of that age have no problem in saying so. They speak openly about their age much more than others (and I'm one of them).

I think there's loads of guys in their 40s and 50s, some very young, some very old. I suspect that's where the 'peak' in the age demographic  is.

But of course this is all anecdotal in any case, no one has the numbers, it's just an impression we have from the threads we read and the lounges we hang out in. Just as I do, you spend a lot of time in OT willie, along with lots of the other older guys, so that will tend to give the impression of us all being old fuckers (I mean that term both affectionately and literally).
