Sobering stuff  :(

There are at least three Chinese run brothels I can think of in Watford alone. That isn't including the massage shops. Does anyone have anymore details on the arrests? Definitely sobering stuff.

This is one of the reasons I'm always hesitant to punt Chinese WG's   :(

Thanks for posting. They paint a bleak picture of the worst case scenario, which isn't the case with the standard Chinese model. I know that girls arrange their own international and city-to-city travel, but my guess is that they're pursuing a conviction for arranging an outcall as "facilitating travel". Arranging bookings, both incall and outcall is the exact same thing that escort agencies do, and nobody bats an eye. I know several girls that would like to go indie, but there are two main problems. The first is lack of English, which would make bookings difficult to communicate and schedule. The second is fear for their safety if working alone; a small oriental woman working alone is an major accident waiting to happen. (In fact, I recall Mimi in Kensington telling me about getting robbed at knife-point.) So girls use the model as it is, because it serves them. So the question is if law enforcement are helping anyone, or just doing harm by putting girls out of work. One option would be more transparency or assurances that girls are working willingly and not exploited. Another option would be to change how the industry works, to adopt a more passive role, potentially even switching to more of a Thai model where girls are responsible for their own AW/VS advertising.

So the police have confiscated mobile phones, cash and passports. From past reports, these will be from the working women too. Remind me who are the controllers here...
