I have never been in this exact situation, but maybe I am a bit more sympathetic than some of the posters on this thread. I believe that it is very easy to fall into the EAS trap, a lot of men go to WGs just to talk, and for myself the actual click with a girl is very important, without it the punt is not much better than a wank in my own bedroom, I would only go back to a girl that I felt a click with. There is one WG who I have developed a personal friendship with, we keep in touch between punts by e mail, it isn't EAS or anything approaching it but it is a genuine friendship on both sides, and one that I value. I still pay her though, and don't expect anything for nothing, just as if I was matey with the landlord of my local and we went fishing together, I still wouldn't expect to walk into his pub and get free beer.
However, that said, you need to realise that this girl is not and never will be your real girlfriend, she will never replace your ex either in your bed or your life, she may actually like you, but you are still a client, not her lover, and hoping for more will only lead to more heartbreak.
My suggestion is to find some form of counselling. You could try Relate, they are not just for couples, they will help single people too with relationship problems, and anything that you say to the counsellor will be strictly confidential. This addiction to this particular WG, and that is what it is, will eat away at you and cause you more pain than happiness unless you do something to get it under control, easier said than done I know but you must try for your own sake. The fact that you started this thread means that you recognise the problem, which is a good first step. Take it further, for your own sake.
