Since when did customs do minute random checks on internal Europe flights on arrival in Spain?
The short answer to that is, "I don't know if they do." I haven't flown outside the UK for four years.
The longer answer is that - I don't know if it's because of the pandemic, or my age; or both! - but in recent times, I've been feeling more paranoid than I ever remember feeling.
And I've been watching TV programmes during lockdown that I wouldn't normally watch; including series from four or five English-speaking countries about the work of their Customs Officers and Immigration Officers at airports. After a while, they all merge into one and - I couldn't tell you which countries are involved - but I've seen travellers arriving from one country with prescription drugs from their home country - and no, I can't remember which drugs they were - which are prohibited in the country they've just arrived in
without evidence of a prescription. So the drugs have been confiscated and destroyed.
Which left me making a mental note that if I ever achieve my ambition to visit the FKK Clubs, it'll be after we've left the EU so, just to be on the safe side, I'd make sure I have the copy of my prescription for Tadalafil with me so that I don't 'lose' them.
Which I thought I'd pass on.
