Reviews are an absolute goldmine of information so hopefully I shall be contributing more in that regard.
The paradox being it gets harder as you get older.....NOT !!!! 

Also the banter on here is very good and your never too old to stop learning.

I’ve learned many useful things in my time here, but the one that comes to mind first is:

Never be afraid to walk. Having read others saying it was a good thing to do in the appropriate circumstances, I found myself in such need, and did walk. I felt totally empowered. Not only that saved myself some money and the risk of an STI

The most useful thing by far that I have learned from this website is that there exists a website called "Adultwork". I only knew agency websites before this.

Second most useful thing is the reviews here being a lot more honest.

It is a great and educational site for all things punting (and more) and has certainly enabled me to spread my punting-wings a little bit wider than i would have dared to without it.
So, a big thank you UKP and my fellow punters!   

But - downside is that I am also finding it almost addictive and that i am spending WAY more time on here than i should ..... i keep finding myself following threads that link back to previous ones that might go back years, or to reading a new review in a particularly engaging narrative style that leads me to read some of the author's other reviews.    etc.

......and i find it amusing/baffling how some seemingly innocuous posts end up being vilified and the cause of heated arguments. (hopefully NOT this one, but i wouldn't be at all surprised  )

Its all fun though.

Coming from a very small population area, and lived here all my life more or less, I started off very wary and with trepidation towards the city aspect of the scene.
The reviews gave me confidence in going to areas I probably wouldn't have approached without that bit of information.
Once you get the hang of interpreting reviews they make decisions so much easier from that side of it.
Pretty sure I wouldn't have dabbled in TS scene either so singularly that will be the one area I've ventured into on the back of UKP

That there's no shame in deciding to pay for sex and there are a myriad different reasons why men opt to do so... It's actually very comforting to read others' origin stories and hear the whos, whats, whys and whens of their punting lives. The first few punts I did, afterwards I'd laugh to myself and think, "What the fuck is wrong with me?!". Now, especially after reading hundreds of reviews on here, and other members' entries into the world of punting, I don't think like that anymore. I've learned to accept that it's ok.

On top of that, loads of practical things, like handing over the cash within the first few minutes... First punt I was so nervous I forgot and she had to ask me for it, doh!

All the different acronyms... Took me ages to work out CC swipes! 

Also, something I'm doing a bit more now is really thinking about taking charge of the punt and making it more than just a fuck, tailoring it to what I want - if that makes sense. Like, introducing role play elements, extended kissing sessions, massage (on her), toys... I really liked andre00's review of Sonja in the London section (https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=321838.msg3357442), where he put a bit of preparation into a hard anal session - really considerate in the way he built it up, and she seemed to respond really well to his approach. Not saying I don't think about what I want, but it inspired me to consider being a bit more thoughtful about how to approach a punt and possibly explore other aspects of my sexuality/do stuff that's a bit out of the ordinary. Rather than just wanting to go in and have a bang, and go home (which I also enjoy of course).

I learned to walk, for me it's one of the most difficult thing to do in punting and started to walk only after reading reviews here.

Understood vfm providers in punting, I used to think that expensive and so called high class escort provides good service. With some research and patience, one can see good looking WGs who provides excellent service at reasonable price.

Started to book quick 15 mins P&D sessions, I never thought that 15 mins will be enough for a session and there are punters here who book only 15 mins sessions.

The fear of missing out (FOMO), it comes when a new or popular WG starts getting positive reviews after reviews. Instead of making a booking when I am free, I start to change my other plans and book based on WG's availability. I learned that WGs come and go, and it's not possible to see all the good service providers that I liked.

And how some contributors' opinions are so quickly trashed (and abuse given to said contributor in the process) by some Alfamale keyboard warriors who feel that
