NEWS: No more verification photos on AW

I was wondering why we couldn't see new verification photos from SP's on AW. Here is the reason, direct from AW.

Why Can't I Show My Verification Photo Anymore?
We are continually reviewing practices and processes with Member privacy/security being a key consideration.
Accordingly, we have removed the ability for Service Providers to display their Verification photo on their profile which until now has been hidden by default for quite some time.
If you would like to have an image of your face on your profile, you can simply upload one to your Profile Picture slots here.

That does actually make sense. It seemed an odd feature from the get-go and I presume 95% of the visible verification photos were there inadvertently. It's a shame from our perspective, as these candid unfiltered photos could save us from a frightening encounter or even from more sinister bait and switch antics.

Well that's a few less threads on here then.

Realistically most girls hide their veri pic anyway but some members did a great job catching them soon after they were published, saved me a few bad punts that's for sure.

I do think it's a shame from a punters point of view as it sometimes gave us an edge if it was on view or on the veri pic threads but then again we've all seen the veri pics where the same girl has done the veri pic for numerous girls so not what you were actually getting anyway

It was very useful.  Too many profiles are sold on, or girl changes as soon as it’s verified. Now we have no way to check that

It's getting in the way of selling on profiles.  And then reading the explanation I thought that the conclusion at AW was that it was too difficult so why bother.

Can't be too difficult if they have already been doing it, the only way it will be less difficult now compared to before is if they no longer require girls to verify and thereby turn a blind eye to whoever makes a new profile.

Can't see them doing that in this day and age with the call for extra safeguarding etc, more likely they don't like girls veri pics being posted on the UKP threads.
Clearly they monitor this site as there was previously a thread that showed how you could look at a hidden veri pic, AW closed that loophole very quickly

AW don’t give a shit.  Al they care about is the money.  The verification process I think is automated I believe.

It’s also why AW have done fuck all to develop and refresh the site. It still looks like something from the dial up era. They only change things when they are forced to by technology dying off (Adobe Flash for videos) or when it makes them more money.

I’ve stated before as a forum we should come together and refuse to use the credit system.  There are more punters than SPs and we should use they to our advantage to force change.

well this sucks, and we are now going to see a massive increase in fake "verified" profiles, no doubt they wanted to hide them because it's become blatantly fucking obvious they'd verify a fucking kangaroo if that's what was submitted, and add to that all the fake profiles they are creating to cream in the pvt gallery money from, which they are constantly getting accused of and called out for here, they are circling the wagons and just making sure we can't prove it.;

There's also been a few verification photos that have looked seriously fucking suspect in relation to working by choice or not, and having those hidden is in their best interests because they are not checking fuck all, as suggested, it's probably all fucking automatic to become "verified" (wonder if a fees involved or planned lol)

Glad they doing this and hope there is still a way to see aw verified pics, it does help if you see what they look like on verified pics instead of 20 years photoshopped pictures on their profile.

Aah, ok.

I know that AW had search boxes where you could tick to select ONLY those profiles which displayed a verif pict, well, at least that what we mortals did in order to spot any new ones for our region.

I suspect he then ran a script on that, no doubt magnetico will be better placed to explain how he automated it.

but interestingly, the link above to the profile, when you click the verified logo/button wont show you the image, but it does on the mobile
