It's funny that you might gain any potential TS inspiration from me NFS, for me, the legend that is Jon is the man!  :D

Yep Jon is King of TS reviews. Half the reviews are his !

But its grown a lot. A lot of contributors , it seems word is getting out UKP is the place for reliable ts review. Hungangels was too fluffy IMO or if you wrote a critical piece , reviewers would get hassled.

It doesn't feel to me that enough word is getting out.
I think I'm remembering right, that the TS filter was introduced here to help punters, when the HA site decided to stop its review section, due to the changes in the US law. It was a commendable and open minded move by UKP and has been reasonably successful.

However, when I browse AW and Birchplace and decide to look up a girl I see there, I probably only find a review on here for less than 10% of them. On HA it was invariably for more than 80% of them.

I think the filter has been going for a couple of years now, so would have thought it has reached critical mass in terms of coverage, so what do people think?

Possible reasons could be:
1. HA was global and a lot of girls travel into the UK from other countries so new arrivals already had some reviews?
2. Too many guys that see T-girls aren't interested in a site that is mostly gender girls?
3. HA was too fluffy - is UKP too much at the other end of the spectrum and putting guys off?
4. The filter doesn't aid SEO and it would be better to have it as a separate category, or even make a new forum, say UKTSPunting.com?

Any thoughts?
I'm not really doing T-girls atm, but reading this review

https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=297136.0

got me thinking it would be great if we could get to a similar HA ratio of 80% of the girls advertising having reviews on here, or somewhere.

Feel free, if you want a new forum then why not start one, why do you want others to provide it for you.   :unknown:

I'm not suggesting a breakaway forum. Apologies if it came across as provocative or trolling, just thought it was worthy of discusssion.

I don't even know if a separate forum under the UKP Umbrella is the best solution, or if it's something that UKP would want.

Just chucking it out there to see what people think - somebody might say 99% of the answer is 1, in which case that would probably be the end of the discussion.

"or even make a new forum, say UKTSPunting.com?" as that is a totally different forum name to this it seems pretty unequivocal to me.   :unknown: hence my suggestion to start a new forum if you would like one.

We have 3 categories at the minute that keep all posts relevant to those categories in one list, is that not enough?

I think that there is some influence of the things you mentions.  But I think you need to factor in time as well.

I am trying to think of an analogy but HA is a specialist niche site. It is like a website for people who support Sheffield Wednesday. UKP is like a website for people who actually play football. There will be some cross over, but they aren't a natural fit and the culture will be different. Fair play to UKP for hosting this, I say.

The bank of reviews will grow over time. It isn't exactly a conducive time right now for this.

I don't agree with your view of this Tom.

From what I can see, more and more guys are interested in TSs on here, the small amount of trolling that there was has pretty well disappeared, we have new members recently arrived, and some of them are interested in TS punts. I'd say the TS 'scene' on UKP is pretty well burgeoning?

It's always going to be niche on here but the level of reviews is somewhat heartening IMO. Obviously things have slowed down considerably because of Covid.

I never even saw HA, but it was a site devoted to TSs, and in general devotees are gonna tend to be fluffy. I think the guys on here who see TSs also tend to see Cisgirls, so perhaps TSs aren't on such a pedestal for them? If they don't have a good time with a TS (let's face it they probably have more flakys pro rata than Cis) then they can go and see a Cisgirl. Plus, the culture on UKP is for objective reviews, a fluffy review can be smelt a mile off and will get a little stick, or at least a gentle, well-intentioned slap round the face reality check. And I would rather have 200 honest reviews than 2000 reviews where only 20% were objective and 80% devotionally fluffy.

I think there's a pretty good 'scene' on here TBH, and speaking personally, as soon as it's legal and I think it's safe to do so (for me and for everyone else) I have at least ten punt's-worth of dosh burning a hole in my pocket from Lockdowns, which I fully intend to sink into the soft nether regions of a pretty tranny.

And I suggest all you pervy fuckers reading this do exactly the same (new devotees always welcome)  ;)

Watch this space

Yep Jonty.

I think within the context of UKP the Translovers have carved out a good niche here and we seem to have the respect of the majority of members. Those whose respect we don't have, know to not bother us. As I said in my previous post, I think the fact that most Translovers here also see Cisgirls helps: at the end of the day we are all punters and not just gay...well OK, perhaps we are pushing the boundaries a little bit  :D

I like being part of this community and I think there's a place for us (cue: West Side Story  :angelgirl:). We have space to grow (there's probably another song in there too ) and I strongly suspect a few more members will be 'corrupted' by us and give it a go out of sheer curiosity, and why not?

it's the same name with TS in it?!?!?

I don't know if it's enough, hence my question and suggestion of 4 reasons for people to give feedback on.

Good points, probably not the best time to assume it's reaching critical mass.
I suppose my analogy if we're using football is like

UKP is Man City, best around
HA is like Doncaster Belles, good for women's football, then let's say it closes down.
Should Man City let a few of the Doncaster Belles women play in their junior teams, maybe even form a junior team, or should they start a fully fledged women's team with the full backing of the club.

You're right though it's definitely improving all the time here - what do you think of my guesses at ratio of reviews you find here for Tgirls advertising?

That makes it a totally different website.  This is https://www.ukpunting.com and that is all it can ever be.

A similar thing was raised about BDSM and Admin had this to say on that thread.

There's nothing to stop having dedicated areas of the site for particular forms of punting but there are reasons for not having them.

The workload of the Mods could increase greatly keeping everything in order; moving existing posts would be too great a task so there would be a mix of information; the Review system wouldn't work on the new Boards as that has bespoke coding.

Effort is currently being put to back office changes to make the Forum stable and to fix a number of bugs.

Hopefully that will answer you questions.

BTW I've checked and the domain name UKTSPunting.com is available to purchase for about $15

No idea, I've certainly not read enough to make any kind of judgment. I primarily read reviews with the purpose of either booking the SP or to corroborate my previous experience. If the former I'll look to make a judgment about the reviewer as well to see if they are fluffy / spiky (is that the opposite of fluffy?) by nature.

I'm afraid I'm no good with the football analogies, and I have no idea of a 'ratio between tranny/other reviews'.

All I know is, there's loads of TS reviews already, from all over the country (I would say most of them are better written than Cisgirl reviews as well, I don't really know why?), you can look on BP and AW to find T-girls, plus you have plenty guys willing to give advice on meeting one of them. I don't know what else to say really  :unknown:.

As time goes on there will be more and more, but ultimately it's a general punting site, it's almost certainly not worth the huge amount of time and effort (and probably money) for Head1 to even consider constructing a TS-specific section, let alone a separate site. It's a hell of a lot of IT work is the impression I get, so I think just enjoy what's here, be grateful for it, and contribute to it when you can  :hi:

Ah yes, now that you mention it I think I remember workload and site complications being the issue when TS filter/category/website was originally discussed.
Thanks for checking the domain name, but no thanks. Better people than me have tried to set something up and it didn't work.

I have however realised I missed a potential reason for there not being as many TS reviews here as there might be. Haven't new registrations been closed for a year or two?
Now that they've opened we do seem to be getting a bit more input from some decent posters.

At least two new dedicated TS forums were set up in the wake of HA's reviews section being removed. One died after a few months, the other still exists but the last time I looked at it appeared to have minimal input and traffic.
