Hi, the website is no longer adapting to my phone screen. I'm being served the wide-screen PC version. As such it makes mobile use very difficult. Been this way for about a month, I think.

On the browser bar, hit “aA” and then hit “request mobile website”, you might have accidentally forced it to pc version

Anyone else getting a message saying their internet service provider is blocked when they login? I can login through my mobile provider (EE) but not through WiFi and my ISP.
Hi guys. Sorry to bring to life a very old thread however I seem to be suffering the same issues. I tried to access UKP on my mobile. No VPN active. But keep getting the message that my ISP has been blocked due to abuse. Reading the above quoted thread I saw that it could have been a case the UKP VPN detector was incorrectly reading an ISP address as a VPN and it was cleared up. Could this be the case with me too?

I'm having the same issue, posted about it on the last page but it was the last comment on thr page so probably got missed.

I think Hyperoptics i.e. my ISP changed something, and the site's VPN detector is being flagged. In the past it happened for a while then it went away on its own after 2-3 months, now it's come back. Basically happens on all my devices if I use my broadband, it's fine on my mobile internet.

I actually found the fix is to turn off’ private WiFi address’ in iPhone settings. Once I did that, problem went away.

I figured it must be a phone setting. Mine actually only happens when I’m on 4G and not broadband. And I believe the problem only existed after an IOS update. I’ll search in my privacy settings and report back if I find a solution

Offline nightbot

Nah mine happens on my Mac, desktop, and phone and on different browserd...and only when I'm on my WiFi. It actually works when I'm on my mobile internet.

Hello all, I'm using OFNL and (using monkeytreehosting.com) and having same issue that keep saying "An Error Has Occurred!" with following message says "Due to abuse from trolls, your internet provider has been blocked from accessing UKPunting. If you have a anonymous VPN service turned on then it must be disabled to access this site." Can this be whitelisted? (Everything works perfectly fine from 4G but it does not give good performance always  )

VPN access through the internet, on UKP is not allowed

VPN access through the internet, on UKP is not allowed

He's not using a VPN, he's got an open access fibre connection.
The problem seems to be that some fibre connections are recognised properly by whatever whitelist the server uses to validate connections.

Offline Murphy54

It’s only this site on this phone I’m having the issue with.
On the odd occasions I can log in on it. Probably once every couple of days.
I’ve not enabled adult content on this phone or any of my devices, but that doesn’t prevent any of my other devices logging in through my internet provider.
All the devices have the latest updates installed.
The weird thing is I can log in with the phone very occasionally,I’m actually using it to write this post.

Finally found the answer to the problem.
Tracking was blocked for trackers and websites.
Can’t believe how this has caused the problem.
Need to catch up on the reviews now.

apologies if this has been asked/ answered before-

Private messages-  is it possible to see a sequence of messages in a conversation thread, rather than just two lists of sent and received?

thanks in advance

Not sure if this has been asked before but would i be able to remove my email address in my ukp account settings?

If no, does your system lock personal details like email address away which third parties cant have access to?

I been getting alot of spam of late so just asking about your privacy policy on this forum.

When I joined a few years ago cant remember of what it said before joining.

Thanks  :hi:

Use this link, which will allow you to check your email address, and if there  been a data breach, which then you get spam emails

When you see the results you should see Ukpunting is not responsible

Don't use the 'New Replies' link, click on the section of the site that interests you then look for the 'New' on any thread you want to read or reply to, click on the and it takes you to the last post you read.

If you’ve got an iPhone just use dark mode in that
Think it’s called night shift
Scrap that it’s not that good suppose you could just adjust the brightness on the phone

No such setting on Opera for iOS(iPhone). The dark mode on iPhone doesn’t do anything, see below. Will check it out when I get home how it runs on my MacBook.

Could you post a picture how the UKP webpage looks in dark mode?!

Offline Marmalade

I just wondered, is there a way I can (or perhaps should) relinquish my 'Forum Helper' status? I think the only times I have used it, or even really aware of its capabilities, has been amending the occasional thread title to include necessary info like location (which is very easy and uncontroversial to do). I'm not nearly as active on the board as I used to be and honestly not 'up-to-date' enough to judge things like moving of threads (as I tend to scribble away while waking up with a cuppa, I'm more likely to be the person who innocently puts something in the wrong place in the first place, so a bit incongruous if I do so as a 'helper'). I try to help punters when I can but that's a different story, just based on my own knowledge. I know many of the forum helpers do indeed keep up with things and put in an awful lot of helpful work – they deserve the title rather more than I do.

Offline catweazle

Marmalade old mate  while I understand and appreciate your sentiment in asking to relinquish your "helper" Status, I'd say just leave it.

I'm in a similar situation  - I was made a helper a long time ago, and, frankly , don't do that much in the way of helping, and if the powers that be think it should be removed then I'm comfortable  with that,  but l rather suspect they have much more pressing things  to deal with instead of helpers not helping much.

Question:  What does "Last active" on a member profile actually record?

E.g. KT's banned account (can't even find when he was banned in the log so guess it was over a year ago now?) says he was last active in November.   :unknown:

If he tries to login. it will record it, even if not successful obviously as he’s banned, but shows the attempt.

Looking at the Top Reviewer stats is there anyway he can be removed ?
IMO given the funt that he is & his behaviour not exactly reflecting well for UKP, he doesnt deserve to be able to see himself in 6th spot
Should he have a peruse to see whats happening on here
It would so fuck him off that he is gorne, banished  :yahoo:

As an aside i'm impressed that the top reviewer list is now 150 rather than 100
Credit where credit is due etc, to those 'up & cumming' UKP reviewers now showing
From my experience being on the list is an encouragement to do new reviews
To head north on the list or at least maintain one's position

Not that its a competition of course
Had some 'jousting' [no not that type ] with Sparkus when we were level pegging [no pegging either  :D]
However he must be on a sabbatical @ the mo  ;) :D

Quality intel
This could solve the problem, as @ILO referenced, potentially messing the system up etc

There are others in the top 150 who've been banned
IIRC nothing on the scale anywhere near what wankchester mango funt engaged in & everything he was about
If anyone interested in UKP takes a look on here, maybe paying / joining [to allow access], the optics dont look ideal
Nearly always a tosspot of the highest order, [too] easy to poke fun at [especially in the olden days on here when it could be like urban warfare]
Got bored of this, UKP has long since moved on
Only latterly that things started rising to surface on him, the tsunami is building
This replicates real life when cuntish people finally get found out & exposed, later than ideal however got there in the end
It turns out that he is or rather was the antithesis of UKP's modus operandi
In F1 parlance he's still on the grid & that aint gonna change anytime soon
Unless discussions or sumfink else which works can be engineered

I knew king tarzan reviews were mostly fake.

I did post a comment on one of his reviews before and then other members said to me "i like king tarzan style" etc.
Anyone can say things like "dfk galore" with a million emojies.
He did not really describe the girls he apparantly saw to at some decent level of discription. Which was a red flag to me.
He just use to say things like "nice mango" or some such shit like that.

Maybe there should be a new rule - you must describe the wg at a reasonably good level along with describing her personality and the location of booking so that other members can verify this from seeing the same wg.   :unknown:

If you knew KT's reviews were fake you should have ignored them. Other than that we have to have some evidence that they are fake. Maybe check the rules about locations, "General description of in-call locations is acceptable, but not specific house numbers and/or street names."

We can't force people to post reviews in any other way than the way that suits them, each review is of an individual experience relayed in the reviewers own style, as long as they contain the necessary information the format is up to them. Descriptions of women are subjective, what one person thinks is a size 10 another would guess at 12.

Members are expected to read reviews, take from them the information they find useful and act accordingly.
