AW feedback is largely useless as a result of having to condense anything meaningful into the length of a text message, and of course the vast majority of it is just pure fluffy bollocks anyway. You also can't make any further comment if the prossie disputes what you've said.

Therefore, when leaving feedback (especially neg. feedback), why not simply insert a link to your review on UKP? You could use a URL-shortening service like External Link/Members Only and in the case of, for example, External Link/Members Only, instead of condensing his story down to External Link/Members Only, "tartanspartan" could have just left something like the following on AW:

NEGATIVE: Timewaster. Review here: External Link/Members Only

Unfortunately it wouldn't be a clickable link, but I'm certain most people would make the effort to copy and paste it to see what's been said. It would carry far more weight and be of far more use to potential punters than 2 lines of cryptic text-speak that's been disputed by the prossie and drowned out by the green outpourings of a million fluffy idiots.

Of course, it would also result in more fuckheads signing up here as well.

Anyway, just throwing it out there. What do people think? Why does no-one ever do this?

The whole problem with AW feedback is that of mutually assured negative feedback. Most people will not give negative feedback on AW so they in turn do not receive any.  It might work for positive reviews though in terms of getting more punters to be aware of the better feedback here but wont AW just delete the review when they find it and potentially delete your profile as well?

Why? Does it break their rules?

One of the conditions for AW. I suspect they would class UKPunting as a third party

I see, yeah, you may be right. Fuck it, I'm going to do it anyway next time I have a bad punt booked through the AW system. See what happens.

Do it first on a positive review as the girl is less likely to complain to AW, then if it works do it on a negative and see. It might work, if it does it will help a lot of punters who dont know about UKP.

Worse than that, the girl can post hidden comments saying anything. I avoid giving AW feedback if possible.

Just post reviews here. Anybody who does more than the odd punt will find it eventually.

Offline Sir Lance-a-lot

This has been done before on various occasions, typically when an escort has stolen a punter's money.  Tecnically it's a violation of AW's rules regarding the placement of URL's, but they seem to turn a blind eye when it's used to report something serious.

And for that reason I would advise against using it for normal feedback.  If we keep doing this, Adultwork will enforce their rules, and those who have been the victims of actual crimes will lose an essential ability to alert others to the problem.

Let's reserve this action for cases of theft, assault, and "outing" only.

I'm not convinced it violates AW's rules.

They're just talking about abusing the email system aren't they? I can't find anything about posting URLs specifically. Pretty draconian if they delete your account just for posting a fucking link to a review in your feedback.

Many WGs have links to their own websites on their profiles anyway, so how does that fit in?

I'd like to get some more opinions on this?

Maybe AW make the rules up as it goes along  ?

AW are greedy bastards - they charge the girls 'extras' for things like links to their website. If girls put links in their profiles - or telephone numbers or diaries to get round the available today system or anything they also charge for, then they might find their profile suspended or deleted. It's how they make money from giving 'free' profiles.

Still, makes a change from us being charged 'extras' for everything.
