Not quite. Soho Cottage, which was originally in Duck Lane, always had one girl per day, and they were exclusively British. Les Girls originally had two girls per day, on on each floor of the premises, and were from Britain, Europe, and Australia / New Zealand. Then they shared Blore Court for a while - Soho Cottage upstairs, Les Girls downstairs, at which point Les Girls became a one girl per day operation - until all of that corner of Soho became subject to Westminster Council's compulsory purchase order. At that point Les Girls moved to Mayfair for a while but it clearly wasn't a success and closed within six months or so. Soho Cottage relocated to Old Compton Street for a two or three years before also closing down for good.

Back in the days (late 90s) when I first moved to London, to visit a new brothel often involved finding ad on local paper and then searching the street on A to Z, it took me to some proper grotty shitholes in London. The first one I visited was near Seven Sisters, some random round the back of the house joint. Took only cash with me and surprisingly didn't get mug or ripped off (I would have stop punting right there if I was mugged in my first ever trip!). Others places I've been to including Belsize Park (ran by Bunny Lounge's Candy). Then a place in Forest Gate. It was a whore house that is in the middle of a fucking terrace with parents and kids hanging out nearby. Front door open and you just walk in Talk about feeling exposed!). Some similar place in Plaistow (again, another middle of a terrace house with opened door) and Wood Green. Still hasn't got mug or ripped off. Then a high street "sauna" place in Goodmayes where you pay a tenner to get in and has like a dozen girls (all look miserable and about the same quality) dress in massaue uniform. I also visited Leahs round about that time too. It was ALSO in the middle of the fucking terrace but at least this time it's back of the street and not the front. Luck would have it that I ended up moving nearby, just a few minutes away!

Then when brothels starts to have website and stuff I start to discovered others. Les Girls, Soho Cottage, Bunny Lounge, Giggles at Ilford, and Leahs at the new place (further down from the station. But more exposed since it's next to a shop!), some extremely grotty flat near Seven Kings, another extreme grotty flat down in Green Lane, etc etc.

Looking back now, there were some good moments in some of those places (The sisters at Leahs were interesting and not something I have experienced since. In fact the quality of girls in there were not bad compare to a lot of other grotty places). Will also missed Bunny Lounge and Candy's ridiculous selling of her girls (tbf, most of them are fitter than other brothels too IMO).

I was so pleased with myself though when I could finally afford to pay more than £60-70 for a half an hour shag, and start to book incall escort for an hour instead. I thought finally I won't have to take a chance to get down to those places like in Plaistow or Forest Gate ever again. Like Stayer, I was a regular at Thai Sauna and Aqua in the 1980s and 1990s.  I only remember a few names.  I saw Tantan regularly for years, and then Lingling, both of them Thai girls who would give me a naked massage and hand job, as well as allowing RO (but never anything more).  I got to know first Josie and then Emilia pretty well, to the point that they would often give me a second round 'on the house'.  I also did some minor jobs for them, such as some wall painting, in return for 'freebies'.  There was always a selection of girls available, and at Aqua, I remember there usually being from four to six girls to choose from (and occasionally as many as ten, which ticked off the girls because it diluted their chances of getting clients!).

This place reminds me of Cheeky Girls aka Extremes, the Dagenham branch where you had to walk up some metal stairs and ring a bell on a metal door. They specialized in Thai girls. Just found this while researching another thread.  Cheeky Girls Walthamstow just disappeared off the map overnight but several others around Lea Bridge did around the same time so I never really questioned this.

As I recall, it was mainly Chinese women of varying quality and the occasional African at that branch, never saw any EE.  Was great for just £30 though.
