Outbreak may be strong words, but I want as many people as possible to read this.

I’ve thought long and hard about what to post, its very cold but I want to be as transparent with the facts as possible.

On 24th October at 1:14pm I had a phone call from the new croft centre kindly informing me that I have tested positive for oral chlamydia. Tested negative for everything else, no clap in my front or back bums.

My last test, which came back clear, was late July 2017, if we factor in a 3 week incubation period it takes it to early July, so I’m just going to say all of July 2017 just to be on the safe side.

The test, which came back positive, was conducted on 18th October 2017. I last saw a client on 23rd October 2017.

I strongly recommend any client I’ve seen between1st July-23rd October 2017 go to the clinic ASAP. Ring them and tell them you’ve been in contact with someone with oral chlamydia and they will give you the treatment. I recommend that girls get tested ASAP too as we all tend to share atleast 1 or 2 clients, better safe than sorry.

Sadly I can’t narrow it down as this can have no symptoms.

When you get tested, please get all 3 swabs. Oral, anal & vaginal/penile. Even if you don’t engage in anal activities its worth getting as salvia can travel. Which means the infection can travel.

Treatment is 4 tablets, all taken in one go and they recommend no sex, protected or otherwise, for 7 days. Then another test 6 weeks after.

Moving forward, once I return to work I will only be offering OW. Health has to come first.

With this industry we make calculated risks with our behaviours, everyone knows the risks going in. I can only apologise for unknowingly putting people in this situation, but also remember that my throat didn’t just develop chlamydia of its own accord.

Any questions, I'm happy to answer them, if I can of course.

Be vigilant with your sexual health, keep yourself and your partners, civvy or escorting, as safe as possible.

Because it can be symptomless its a disease that's probably a lot more common than most people realise. I've caught it in the past from RO. As you say its simple to treat - one massive oral dose of antibiotics, followed by a period of abstinence.
I'm sure it will work out OK for you, even if it means a hit cashwise for a while. But thanks for taking the decision to be open and honest about it.
Unfortunately its one of the risks of the business, both for girls and punters. Yet another example of why its incumbent on us all to get regular checks

Thanks for posting Lydia, just proves the need for regular check-ups for everyone.

Offline MasterChief

Given the 4 month window here it is highly likely a large percentage of girls and hence customers will by now be infected.

Everyone reading this should get to the clinic ASAP.

Lydia has gained so much respect from me for posting this. To me shows her to be very decent. I'm sure many girls wouldn't have been so honest.

I've never seen her before but ironically is be more inclined to see her when she's back to full fitness.

Just to clarify gents, as a few people have gotten back to me and said they will get tested: The best and recommended course of action is to contact a clinic and tell them you've been in contact with someone with Chlamydia. They will give you the treatment without a positive test, remember incubation periods. The treatment is 4 tablets, all in one go for a positive result, not sure if that differs if theres the chance you've come in contact.

Also, thank you for a positive remarks, I thought that if the shoe was on the other foot, I'd want to know. I also though it would be massively hypocritical if I didn't say anything, considering how active and vocal I am with regards to safety. We, as clients and escorts need to be aware and look after ourselves and each other, its the best way to keep us safe.

Have you toured at all during the period in question? Might be worth posting someting in any region youve visited. Not everyone reads regional boards.

I admire your honesty btw.

Far better let the medical experts at a GUM clinic deal with you and prescribe the correct treatment.   :hi:

Offline MasterChief

If you really don’t want to go to the clinic and get them free, click through on the sexual health section on any on-line pharmacy and they will sell you the tablets for between just under 18 quid to 50 odd quid.

Better get them from anywhere than not take them at all!

Doxycycline 100mg twice a day for 7 days OR
Azithromycin 1000mg one dose (2 or 4 tablets in one go)

I am a bit surprised not to find this post on Amours site, just seems to be a little note to ring them!

Just to be clear I agree with you 100% I posted the above as it is better than not getting them at all.

I picked mine up today, I gave my real name, but could have given Mickey Mouse for all they cared, I did tell a little white lie by saying a sexual partner had been tested positive, they asked me to have a set of tests there and then but I declined and made an appointment for just over 6 weeks hence. They were completely fine with it

The followup test is important.
There are drug resistant forms of chlamydia, though rare and the test is essential to prove the drugs have worked

I get tested regular anyways, I aim for every 3months and guess get done every 4 or 5

Offline toon972

Just got my all clear today from gum clinic, just by coincidence I had a check up just before this important revelation. I was also advised to get checked every three months instead of my usual six months, so this is what I am going to do from now on and have booked an appointment for January.

Its been brought to my attention that a WG is working her way through my feedback and cross referencing clients and sending ones we've both seen abusive texts about myself and the situation.

Remember girls and guys, we ALL go into bookings knowing shit can happen. Before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean. Don't want to run the risk of catching anything? then don't offer or accept unprotected services to help minimise that risk.

Admire you for posting this Lydia, many wouldn’t have
Hopefully everyone takes note and abstains whilst awaiting results

I had my three month visit scheduled earlier this week, and has come back all ok.

Another thumbs up for honesty and openness.  I think everything else has pretty much been said, but for me, your decision to be up-front is extremely admirable, especially as I can't imagine it to have been a straightforward one.

Kudos for posting this Lydia.

I'm booked in for a test early next week and will be abstaining from punting until I'm sure I'm clear. Hopefully I'll be able to get back in the saddle at Xmas.

Please make sure you tell them about coming into contact with it though. There's is an incubation period and if you get tested in that time you may get a false negative back. Better safe than sorry.

One can only have nothing but total admiration in the way lydia has conducted herself.
she has shown diligence and dignity, where in my humble opinion few would have.  If only escorts/clients were this honest, the world would have been a much better place, and a lot less std around.
