As a rule of thumb, you should avoid unless they let you contact them by another channel.

They should let you call or email them if they are true about the escort service. Even more, if they let you contact them by another channel but then they ask you to discuss the meet over the webcam you should still avoid.

Think about it. What is an escort booking over the webcam requirement? In the best-case scenario, it is a hidden fee, in the worst-case scenario, it is a scam and the girls will try to get you on cam as long as possible without any intention of escorting. In either case, it is a dishonest behavior.

Girls will try to justify it by saying that they need to know you first. That's is a lie. Are they going to have sex with you without asking for money? They are not girlfriends, they don't need to know you first.

So, unless you genuinely want to enjoy a webcam session and discussing a meet wasn't your first intention, avoid.

These webcammer/Escorts are pretty much all scammers hoping that some guy will spend hundreds/thousands £ on Webcam sessions "getting to know them" in the hope of one day getting an irl meeting.

I wish AW did not allow them to use the Escort tick box without verification that they actually do straight up cash meetings.

I don't even look at those types of profiles, if it isn't a straight forward phone call or message to book then I move on. I've never been one to jump through hoops in order to spend money, the easier they make it the more likely I'll give them my cash.

I seriously doubt it. But if girls are still using that technique, it is because many people still go to webcamming to book them.

We're completely aligned on that one HA. I have only once ever contacted an escort via a camshow, and it was due to her not having replied to my message, despite being online and having read it. I saw that she was camming and thought I'll check in. This almost never happens to me, due to the way I write my messages 🤔

Her reply to me in the cam "Oh I remember you, you put quite a bit of effort into the message..." 🤦‍♂️

That was a one off, due to the unique nature of the service that particular provider offered.

Since then I have never done that again. I stick to messages and calls for bookings, and thanks to UKP my confidence in declining/cancelling/ceasing to pursue bookings due to erratic behaviour has been much better.

Exactly. Requiring a webcam meet to arrange an escort meeting is a massive case of "red flag and move on".

However, looking at it on the generous side, these are webcammers, not escorts. As with any business, they have to maximise trade, and if punters are stupid enough to play/pay along, then I can only have very limited sympathy.

I see a lot of these profiles with webcam girls that list escorting but want you to book via webcam or claim they only offer escorting to cam regulars. Seems like a way of tricking people into spending a load of money on cam shows to me. It's a red flag but it must work on some people as I see it on a fair few profiles.

I have written to AW several times via "suggestions" to improve the website. I proposed them to improve the service by allowing us to filter out webcammers from escorts services. It is quite a simple programming, but they don't care. They make a lot of money from the commission they charge to the webcammers.

The "interesting" thing about that quote is that the censors made them change the emphasis from being on "damn" (as anyone would say it) to being on "give" (which makes no real sense, but is now famous). End of film-nerdism; continue as before.

Very very few girls on AW who web cam genuinely escort but there are a handful. You can thin out the list by doing a search and ranking the results by escort feedback only. It doesn't take long going down that list before the escorting feedback gets into the single digits and is of questionable value.

Some will have a lot of escorting feedback but possibly some time ago.

Anyone who has anything along the lines of "lets discuss meets in cam" should be treated as a non-escort. Maybe 1 in 1000 of those profiles are likely to meet.
