You must be a member of the Royal Family, or at least an A list celebrity to worry that much about publicity.

Why not just slip a schoolboy a fiver to go in and get them for you ?

PS: I think the answer to you question is almost certainly not in a million years.

I wouldn't say a vending machine was particularly discreet. Banging and swearing on the fucker when the box gets stuck and that's after using a bank card to buy it contactless since it doesn't accept cash. Get someone who looks over 18 to go into a shop and get it for you.

Viagra Connect is available over the counter.

Pick a pharmacy well away from your normal stomping ground and fill your boots

Yep. They sell them in Sainsburys if it has a pharmacy so just find one a few miles away & pay cash. It couldn't be easier.

I've seen viagra sold in pub vending machines. And the word is spelt discreet.

You've probably seen 'herbal viagra', or similar in vending machines

highly unlikely it was anything else in the UK

If you’re referring to ‘discreet’ then that is the correct spelling in this context

Though why you’ve quoted kev40ish is puzzling

Offline Puntard

Not really

I was pointing out that the response was doubly perplexing

Saying that he’d seen viagra sold in a vending machine which is bollocks

And choosing to latch upon to the supposed misspelling of a word that can be actually be spelt the way op chose to spell it and it would still make sense

One could be discrete in this context by making a sole, or even infrequent purchases of said product; and/or in a defined location(s)

Although not from a pub vending machine

I could be wrong re the machine as I don't use Viagra but Cialis. As for the difference between discrete and discreet, get a dictionary, Mr. Illiterate Smart-Arse. Or look up online. Or ask yourself why on AW they spell it correctly

Yawn cialis even more potent than Viagra u definitely saw neither in a vending machine  :hi:

No.

discreet
/dɪˈskriːt/

careful and prudent in one's speech or actions, especially in order to keep something confidential or to avoid embarrassment.
    "we made some discreet inquiries"
synonyms:   careful, circumspect, cautious, wary, chary, guarded, close-lipped, close-mouthed; More
    tactful, diplomatic, considerate, politic, prudent, judicious, strategic, wise, sensible;
    delicate, kid-glove;
    informalsoftly-softly
    "I'll make some discreet inquiries"

discrete
/dɪˈskriːt/

    individually separate and distinct.
"speech sounds are produced as a continuous sound signal rather than discrete units"
synonyms: separate, distinct, individual, detached, unattached, disconnected, discontinuous, disjunct, disjoined
"speech sounds are produced as a continuous signal rather than discrete units"

And by the way, I am defiantly correct  :D.

Gentlemen, please. This has to stop! I thought my embolding of discreet in my reply above was enough but what has this become? Pendants' Corner? Phew I'm glad I got that apostrophe in so the grammar feds don't bust me.

I thought about calling out puntard on this, although I think it is possible to buy things in a discrete way, i.e. individually and, ironically, from a vending machine would be a fair example I'd venture. However, anyone who cares (or isn't ignorant) knows that that's not what OP meant.

Let's move on FFS.

But of course you're right

and Viagra can't be bought from vending machines

Herbal viagra can, but that's garbage

Indeed.

But a pedant is anally retentive about detail, whereas a pendant is something you might wear around your neck.
