Author Topic: Trying to Transfer Adult Work Credits – Total Nightmare!  (Read 587 times)

Offline Vice Admiral

An escort I know is trying to transfer credits to her bank account – and is tearing her hair out with frustration.

When she clicks on Transfer Request Form, this is what she gets:
“This transfer would leave a negative balance. Click here to correct the problem by automatically marking your earned credits (to the value of 0.95) as non-transferable so as to prevent them from being included on transfer requests. Note that reversing this would require help from the AdultWork.com Admins. Alternatively, manually un-tick some transactions until the amount to transfer is less than your current balance. If this doesn't make sense, please review the Help Desk.”

When she then clicks on Click here, she gets this:
“The following problem(s) were detected:  0.9461 credits could not be removed from your transfer request as you have not received credits in corresponding quantities. You will need to wait until you have accrued 0.9461 credits before being able to make your request.”

There doesn’t seem to be any way of removing credits from the account to rectify this.

She has also tried the alternative route of manually un-ticking some transactions until she's reached the transferrable amount – but that doesn’t work either.

Can any service providers help or advise?

Escorts have their own advice sites like SAAFE or even EH where there are far more SPs than on here. She could always do the logical thing and ask AW who will have the answer.

Honestly VA getting credits out of AW is like getting blood out of a stone.

I've had this issue before but I'm not as per rules going into it on here, if either of you have an escortinghub account feel free to ask there as most of the escorts will be able to help and wil probably be more help than AW themselves  :hi:

Thank you for your thoughts.

Since most of the Adult Work operation runs on smoothly oiled wheels, the glitchiness of this can only be deliberate.  It wouldn't be rocket science to devise a simple, easy-to-operate cash withdrawal system.

I e-mailed AW, and got a link to an article I'd already read.  There's an option to contact them again, which I guess I'll have to do, but I very much fear I'll end up going round in circles.

And thank you for the escortinghub suggestion, which I may have to try if all else fails.  Unfortunately the girl in question simply does not have the intellectual equipment to deal with this (either on escortinghub or anywhere else).  And frankly it's stretching my own intellectual equipment to near breaking point!

I think a lot of SPs don't transfer credits out of AW. I think they use them to pay for their green light to be on. AW maybe make it difficult to discourage people from transferring them out as that costs them real money.

I know they make it hard - I wanted to collect £50 of credits I had paid in for something that had not come off - in the end, I had to transfer them to a SP who I could trust and who was able to use them and give me cash.  But you would not want to do that regularly.

I gave up trying to transfer the credits into a bank account and instead investigated the Gift Voucher option – which seems to be straightforward, glitch-free and easy to use.

The gift vouchers can be used at about 50 mainstream stores and businesses (Asda, Argos, M&S, The Body Shop, Ticketmaster, Deliveroo and so on).

I've experimented with a small amount – £30 – and, all being well, the voucher will be e-mailed to the girl on 12 September.

Others who have struggled with transferring AW credits may find this method worth considering.

Do you mean you have access to her profile, her AW account?

Transferring is fiddly the process I find annoying but I manage it most weeks. I won't be switching to shop vouchers because vouchers don't pay bills, and do not pay (dare I mention it for fear of opening up the old discussion) tax, NI etc due on the earnings. I will step away now. :bomb:
