Unexpected benefits of punting?

Been thinking about this for a while; punting provides many physical, mental and (for some) emotional benefits; stress relief, excitement, personal satisfaction/indulgence, a mood boost, sexual experimentation and so on...

But, have you had any unexpected benefits?

For instance, I've found myself being more forward when dating civvies. Whereas, in the past, I may have been less confident in getting what I wanted or held back a bit.

I've also been taking a bit more care of myself generally; small things, like cutting my nails a bit more regularly, wearing aftershave more often, trying out different looks with my hair, and putting more effort into my physique. Not that I didn't before, but there's been a subtle shift.

It's boosted my self-confidence a lot too, especially off the back of a LTR that ravaged my self-esteem. Whether they're genuine or not, I don't know, but I get a lot of compliments from SP's on my body/looks, which (in tandem with some self-work and frequent workouts) has improved my self-confidence no end.

On top of that, I've suppressed my sexual urges a fair bit throughout my life, so I guess I'm more in touch with my needs and I feel a lot more sexually liberated now, than I ever have. I've always been a horny sod, but actually acknowledging that and acting on it, hasn't always been my way.

I don't rule out any woman now on the basis of age or looks and I find hotter women really respond to confident interest in their personalities. Definitely keep myself in better condition. My weight is down to 12 stone which is pretty much what I should be. Doubt I would have bothered for civvie life. Also eat well and only a couple beers a week.

Only viable cover story for my punting activities was gym attendance in Edinburgh, so I joined a gym. I would never had done this but for the need to have a handy excuse for being away from home.
Against expectations, I started to really enjoy weight lifting in particular, and gym life in general; think fit young women in the tightest possible Lycra leggings.
So now I have a bombproof cover story for my punting, while being stronger and fitter into the bargain.

The best one wasn't a perfect 10 twentysomething model. She was significantly older with a body made from good living. I generally see sugar babes and being an older guy took the decision that I needed to make every effort to get myself into best physical shape possible so I could enjoy the bedroom action. I have become a regular gym goer and eat a much more health diet. These changes have got my weight under control and my BMI is now within target range for my age.

Whilst it appears the medical world is still learning about what causes prostate cancer it is generally accepted that lifestyle changes of this nature reduce the risks. Also I have read on a number of medical sites that, whilst research continues, is an increasing opinion that regular sex reduces the prostate cancer risk.

So basically chaps lots of sex is helping us keep fit and healthy and easing pressure on the nhs!  😂😂😂

The problem is that sometimes what they actually look like naked is often a let-down.  I had a colleague I wanted to get my hands on her pale, slightly overweight but decent sized posh knockers for a long time and it suddenly happened one night as she was about to leave her partner and wanted to test the waters.  They were a lot softer and less shapely than I imagined once the bra came off.  Another had a black bush the size of a dinner plate and I had to avoid looking at as she walked around the hotel room naked.

With punting you can see them naked beforehand, have the option of walking and don't have to cope with any post-shag awkwardness at work.
