I was chatting to a girl online who told me she has "people nearby" turned on and when guys message her she offers to shag them for cash. Got me thinking so I had a look and all I can see is blokes and some fake profiles of model type girls who turn out to be pic sellers.

So I decided to try something a little different and changed my username to something indicating I was willing to pay for pussy and wrote same in my profile. Been running for a few days and so far just an approach from a guy who wanted me to pay for him to suck me, no thanks!. But I will run the experiment for a bit and see if I can get any hits.

Has anyone else tried this feature? Would be good to have a few of you run it in different areas and see if it works. I always thought an app which allowed punters to advertise they were looking for a girl along with what services and how much they were willing to pay would be a great success. Something like reverse booking on AW but more feature rich. Telegram "people nearby" could be the prototype.

You can see the potential but it might have some downsides, like it sounds like a good way to organise people to come to you so you can mug them. Or maybe a way for the police to catch curb crawlers.

There was a similar thing several years back when more and more phones had Bluetooth. It was called Toothing funnily enough. I tired it a few times but was a dead loss - just overrun by idiots, weirdos and catfishers.

I can't see what would be different today. Just a different medium isn't it?

WeChat has the same thing. Its apparently quite common in south east asia. I gave it a try a few years ago when I was over there and had a (non paid) meet with one girl but it was a fairly boring experience and I gave up after the first hit. Most profiles were in Chinese so maybe if Id spoken the lingo I might have had more success

Yeah there's always going to be scams and the like once you go down different avenues away from the traditional sources like AW, it's just about keeping your wits about you, assess the risks and do due diligence.

I've had some interactions already, I see a few pro prossies on it too. 1 girl wanted payment in advance which is an obvious scam, took her round in circles before calling her out on it, chat soon got deleted.

Another operating in a nice part of town, but wanted too much even an Uber to pick her up which is a bit much when she is one overground stop away from me. I'm sure one will turn out good.

But why did she ask for two £30 cards. I was intrigued. I pretended to agree and asked some questions, could I bring cash instead, or one Amazon card for £60. She just got nasty and blocked me. So I guess I'll never know unless one of you guys knows how the scam works.

Another one I’ve just started to talk to had asked for a Google play card of £25 and I said you will have card off me as soon as I meet you she says yes obviously this is a lie but I’ll see what happens

Don't believe live pin drop, they can fake their location with an app on Android phones. I'm convinced none of them are actually in the area, probably some overseas operation.

Their modus operandi is 1) they ask where you are located 2) now they know your location they will tell you their full address without you asking. It just happens to be very close to you. 3) They tell you their rates which are on the low side (I for £25 for 15 mins, £50 for 30 mins). 4) They ask you to pay using gift cards.

I've had at least 5 of them now following same script.

Giving up on Telegram now, I've not had one genuine person on it.

Yep all that happened I’ve called them both out as I’ve done a reverse image search on their pictures and they come up fake,one even said she was raped and I’ve bought memories back and it only happened last week  :dash:then she said she told me she was from USA when I showed her a picture of a USA pie star with her pictures So I went back through chat and she never did when confronted she said she forgot to tell me,then she said her bank was playing up so I could transfer her money to her PayPal or brothers account.

All I can say about the nearby people is proceed with major caution, in fact don’t proceed at all - every single one I’ve found has been fake using porn star photos or photos stolen from someone’s Facebook or twitter and they either ask for Google play card or steam card as a so called deposit and will make all the excuses under the sun not to do a voice chat - one actually did a voice chat with me…. Yeah I think being an iPhone user I recognise Siri voice, so unless it’s someone you actually know I wouldn’t bother.

Oh I wouldn’t bother. Someone recommended this to me a while ago and I had a little go … we’re quite a few stunning women nearby but mostly men who I suspect were on there for the same reason I was. Messaged a couple of women and they all had the same scripts. They were models who work internationally who were all working in Swindon. Oh, and as gorgeous as these women were, they all replied straight away. All I could see were scammers. Quickly deleted.

Even if you found a WG on there, unless you could negotiate an amazing rate, I struggle to see why you’d not just use AW.

Lol had a similar incident girl was using pics from a popular OF model, but forgot to crop the OF handle  at the bottom of the page. When I brought this to her attention she doubled down on sending more pics from the same model despite me showing her I know it's fake. 

I've had some other experiences with Pros(ROMs) on there but I can find ROMs on VS, AW, Kommons etc....so didn't bother with them

It's a great feature but I think you have to be extremely lucky and keep at it for weeks to find someone genuine.

She comes back quoting £100/hr which I thought sounded promising, then proceeded to give me an address 80 miles away. From now on I'll be applying a pinch of salt to the distance quoted by telegram

£100 p/h is a common theme with these people did she offer you other services without saying what it was I mean you had to state all services like owo,cim and swallow then I got a reply saying yes to all those.

If you switch on the near by function in Telegram, I see few really sexy women near me  They write eskort etc. in their description so its not a regular person, and the photos are too sexy. I contacted one and she wanted a deposit before meeting... I assume this is a scam then and just steer clear?

I had an interesting find on Telegram a few months ago.

Under Find People Nearby a fitty popped up called Loula Belle and the profile pic was a professional studio underwear shot. The distance to me was only 100yrds (normally it never shows anything for me at <0.3mi) but then the app refreshed and it changed to 50yrds so the mark was moving. Then a lass with a similar looking face and hair colour as the profile pic walked past my front window while out walking her dog!

The Telegram profile had a link to her only fans page so I did some digging on another discussion site and someone had linked that onlyfans to the former porn star Faith Nelson! The pictures and vids online of her matched so I was cheeky and ask Loula Belle if she also worked under the name Faith. She confirmed she had been and we chatted a bit. She had started up on onlyfans after resolving some personal issues and following a boob reduction ☹️ 

I left it there as I did not want her to feel stalked IRL, and I turn a blind eye when I see her still knocking about, but it is a chuckle to know that an internationally published porn star lives close by.
Her Telelgram was deleted a month or so later.

My same findings too.

All the profiles looking for "hook up" all string you along for bit and always want to know where you are first, then what a coincidence, they're near that location too. I've made up a few stupid locations where only someone really local would know that was a true location. Each and every time they ask for a postcode instead, or can I be more specific.

And every profile I've found so far, their photos they use can be found via Yandex reverse image search. When they get around to asking for a deposit or voucher, I ask them if a fake one is ok, which would match their profile, then send a couple of screen grabs of proof they're using fake photos. And then their status changes from "recent" to "not seen in a very long time".

Bluetooth was and is very short range, mostly you need to be almost in the same room. Telegram as I understand throws out a lot more info about you and over a bigger area.
