You're welcome pal. Also worth bearing in mind those stats demonstrate the odds of transmission from a known carrier. You need to consider the stats of % of British population who are actually hiv positive. not everyone is hiv positive. Although there doesn't seem to be any uk stats, worldwide approximately 19% of trans sex workers are hiv positive. That's a fair bit higher than any other sector, even gay men.
Also to consider though is the availability and effectiveness of prep.
And that the data gathered doesn't take into account the sexual habits of the data subjects. For all we know, they could be questioning gay men who spend all their free time outside a public toilet engaging in really high risk sex. Comparing that to a bloke who's curious to try something once to get it out of his system, and the odds become even more confusing.
Or you could just have a dodgey transfusion while away on holiday.
