SP's usually charge more for nuru because the nuru gell/oil is quite expensive and you need plenty of it.

They used waterproof inflatable air beds (double size) and we would both be absolutely smothered in the nuru oil. I’m sure there will be a few on here who remember it. Following the infamous press release it closed down and some of the girls set up by themselves working from a house in Handsworth.
Trust me, to compare this with and a quick slap of oil on their tits and a rub on a massage table really is chalk and cheese.

That's a bit like asking what's the difference between a mini and a rolls Royce.  It's all about the quality of the experience that the nuru gell delivers, due to its consistency.  Just like an oily massage is more erotic than a normal massage, so a nuru massage is more erotic than an oil or soapy massage.

Personally, I think the raunchiness of the masseuse is more important.  But the OP specifically asked about nuru massage providers.

No not just the oil. It needs to be performed on a large waterproof floor based mattress to enable both parties maximum position options.

Most b2bs here seem to be a half hearted balancing act on a narrow massage table 1m off the ground.

I think the soap sud massages were the forerunner to Nuru massages.  Had a few of these myself when I used to holiday in Thailand

Nuru doesn't use oil, it uses a special seaweed-derived gel developed especially for the purpose.  It is very messy, hence the need for rubber sheets, and extra cleaning time after.  And quite expensive, which as others have pointed out is why nuru massages are almost always more expensive.
