I don't think he'd have much luck with many of our prossies…he should try cake.

Or a KFC bucket in Essex  :D

Freaky Americans, sends shivers down your spine - fancy doing that to your own citizens.  Let's hope they all got away with just a dressing down.

Stephen Hardock [that can't be his name, surely?], another of the ten men arrested, is an example to us all.  I certainly don't think I'll be punting if I reach his present age.

I can't be the only one who initially read the UKP topic title rather differently from how you (presumably) intended it, RL. I had to go and read the article before I worked it out. Had I not done so, I'd still be wondering how much the average salad charges for sex.

(Of course, the main reason we can't have sex with salads is that most of them wouldn't lettuce.)

Whoops! Sorry, meant OP, not RL. (Please don't give me a rocket.)

I'm seriously dubious of this. Maybe I'm naive but I just think in the states it's massive entrapment and almost as if anybody who doesn't  specifically say no is busted. Nowhere in the world is that an average cross section of punters.

It's illegal there, just as kerb crawling is here. You might not like it, but that's irrelevant really. Coke users are probably against it being illegal.

That said, I think publicly naming and shaming people who commit crime is not a bad idea.

The media doesn't always report the facts correctly and I've seen something similar to this before, it's posted on here somewhere.

I'm not sure of when a 'sting' becomes 'entrapment'. They do things like bait cars over there to catch car thieves and don't we have officers pretending to be children in internet chat rooms?

Would be interesting to learn more about the legalities regarding this sort of thing.

It being illegal is one thing, trying to ensnare citizens into committing crimes they might otherwise not commit is another.  I've read online about undercover policewomen in USA picknicking in parks to chat up strangers, encouraging them to perform sex acts, then arresting them when they do - what red-blooded male could likely resist?  Weird!

Was he allowed to toss it??
Well if he did and added some jizz, he'd have protein too. Bonus.

Well if this system of payment did get adopted over here , getting a job as a delivery man for one of the online supermarkets would be the perfect cover for punting. Plus reverse bids would be interesting "prepared to offer a loaf of bread, some cheese and an apple for 2 hours" etc.

Wow the police in Daytonna must have cracked all of the real crime, if they've got time to go arround arresting 86 year olds trying to buy blow jobs.

Must be the safest city in the USA.

You mean how they have porno film companies on the stock market, sex shows etc - and prostitution is illegal.

It is one weird country.  The 20-year-old son of one of my [non-punting] mates went there to do part of his Degree.

When he arrived he could buy a gun but not a Budweiser!
