In my region we see different touring troupes of Thai and Brazilian girls at the same locations, on a weekly or fortnightly basis, in a system which seems to run like clockwork, and must take an awful lot of planning. It is a question without a simple answer. As with many things "it depends" .

A couple of years ago there was a WG profile on AW where they had copied and pasted the access information and directions to the venue directly from AirBnB so in that example we can be sure it was an AirBnB booking. Probably details in here somewhere if you care to look.

Whether there are certain AirBnB owners or other landlords who knowingly market their properties to WGs or their agents, I couldn't say.

You might want to check out some of the prosecution reports which sometimes give the details you seek.
