No, although there were some lovely waitresses there! This was the empire. Was playing blackjack and she came over and asked if we would like a massage while we are playing, I said no thanks for now maybe later then she went back and sat at the bar, maybe they are employed by the casinos t distract you while you play!! About 6-8 years ago a trend developed in poker events where some of the well known pros would call in or bring their own masseuse to the tables. This isn't so silly when you consider that all of the WSOP tournaments are multi day events with players sat in uncomfortable cramped conditions for 10-12 hours a day. As with most things the pros do, the amateurs want to copy them. Soon the girls were largely freelancers walking around the tables asking anyone if they wanted one. This seems to over the last few years spilled over in to other table games too.

The girls doing this aren't likely to offer any escort services ever. It's vastly different to strippers for example.
