Yeah, all but the shittiest of rented accommodation costs daft money now.  Worse still if they can only work so many days a week (kids,legitimate job, etc).  They're paying through the nose for accommodation they only use 50% of the week.  Unless they can share with another girl but then they're running a brothel. And of course the afore mentioned safety issues.
