Author Topic: Lily Delphine – what would you do?  (Read 5772 times)

With the announcement of Lily’s departure to Nottingham I was very keen to see Lily again as she’s the best thing since sliced bread and maybe the wheel.

Having made the appointment a week or so ago for this morning, I had to change it to this afternoon. Lily proposed a new time for 3.30pm on AW which I accepted and Lily confirmed on Friday. So far so good.

This morning Lily texted regarding my special request and I texted back at around 10am. I live south of Middlesbrough so I set off at around 2ish full of excitement. Having been lucky enough to see Lily I know that I’m in for a treat, so much so, I decide to take her flowers. So I rock on up at about 3.15pm. I drive past the house and note the window is shut in the room that we used on my last visit.

I park up the street a bit and texted her to say that I had arrived. No response. At 3.25pm I call. Telephone is not available message and no option to leave a message. At 3.30pm text again. No response. A few more calls and texts up to around 3.50pm. Knowing what a poppit Lily is, I am genuinely a bit worried for her. What if something had happened to her? At this point do you:-

a)   Hang around for even longer – just in case?
b)   Actually go and knock on the door?
c)   Just leave?

I decided on the latter. Having a 2 hour round trip I couldn’t hang on indefinitely, plus I’m sat in the street with a number of people going to the shops and I look very conspicuous.

If I knocked at the door, I would either look even more obvious standing there knocking, or there might be another punter in there, or it would really annoy Lily. I decided that whatever the situation it wouldn't be punting etiquette to just knock.

So I drive off past the house and notice the window has been opened. Someone is definitely in.

I still have had no communication from Lily at 7pm either by AW or text. At least Mrs. Japseye will be getting flowers – which will undoubtedly raise suspicions

So do I:-

1)   Post a negative review?
2)   See if Lily comes back to me and decide then?
3)   Completely let her off and let it go because she is the best a man can get?

Thoughts please?

I would leave a review with a judgement of what you think it merits. I'm sure we will all contribute. But make sure you leave a review

Like Mm2 states, you need to review it on the appointment itself and not be swayed by past experiences. For what it's worth I'd be giving her a negative as she has completely wasted your time and could not offer the decency of a reply or apology.

Leave a review that you see fit. Then if it's not a positive be prepared for her fan club to arrive and tell you that actually it's all your fault.

Hi all,

as annoyed as I was at the time, Lily has pm'd me and she's completed exonerated herself and made me all gooey again over her. Basically her phone charge ran out so she used her friend's phone. As my number was on her phone, she used the number of my AW profile. Very strangely and worryingly the number on my AW profile isn't mine and I've never seen it before.

So at 3.30pm I was calling Lily's dead phone and she was calling some random person.

In my working life, one of my strongest skills is being a good judge of character, and I was right not to post a negative review because Lily has been her usual fab self.

So no negatives about Lily on this thread please. She's a star.

Now to find out why my AW mobile number is different.........

Sorry but no its a big fat negative,to let your phone run out isnt proffessional

Lily would know this and even though you had a wrong number which you are to blame by the way, she still messed up

Still a negative but i guess she wont give a fook, and to be fair nor will anyone else, sounds a right fuck up on both parts tbh

Would have been clever of her to leave a message on AW with the new number especially of couldn't get hold of you.

How come phone charge run out when your at home where presumably your charger would be and who the fuck was opening and closing the window?!?! Surely the number you provided on adultwork on the booking would have been the one she text u the address on? Something doesn't add up here.

So lily was in her place waiting for you and her phone ran out of charge sounds plausible.

Offline japseyeuk

Yes Durham Lad, that's what happened. It was Lily or her friend that had opened the window as she was inside, I was right outside, but didn't have the minerals to get out and knock.

Mademan, that's the weird thing, we have communicated by text before no problem, so I guess my number is on her phone. This must have come from the AW website in the first instance. But strangely the number on there now under my profile isn't my number any more. I've contacted AW to see if they can explain.

So she didn't think to charge her phone then? or plug it into the charger and turn it back on?

I'm straggling to believe her phone went flat and she didn't have a charger.

She could have either plugged her phone into it's charger or transferred her SIM card over to her friends phone.

Bearing in mind that a working phone is essential in her line of work it's not very professional.

Anyway if you had a confirmed appt. for 3.30 and you knew the full address why did you feel the need to contact her by phone, just knock on the door.

You guys do make me chuckle, speculation on top of speculation seems to be the order of the day in the NE lately  and it makes for great reading.

She left a punter hanging with a feeble excuse & for that she deserves a dent in her glowing reputation via a negative review in my humble opinion.
If you encourage & revel in the positive nature of UKP as Lily seems to do then sooner or later it will bite back with a negative comment/review, its how a prossie deals with that situation that shows their true psyche.

In my working life, one of my strongest skills is being a good judge of character,

I think not this time ... sounds a very lame excuse, and based both on your experience, and also her explanation, I wouldn't bother.  Highly unlikely that someone whose livelihood depends on their phone would put themselves in a position where it just ran out of charge

Sorry but that is the fluffiest pile of crap I have seen on here for a while, had to be a Negative.

I'm loving the debate. Lily told me that she left her phone charger when she was away. I guess as we had had earlier comms then her phone was dead this is a plausible reason.

You're right because it's Lily I didn't want to leave a negative and jeopardise a future visit. Having seen and reviewed unrealblack Barbie recently it made me appreciate what we have with Ms Delphine.

Regarding just knocking at the door, I really don't know lily's circumstances, for all I know she might have a gorilla upstairs waiting to beat people up, and without getting the all clear to knock on the door I didn't feel comfortable doing it.

One scenario might have been that she suspected of being under surveillance with having a friend working from the same premises and decided to go to ground - the last thing I need is my face in the paper!

My theory:

She was in the bath getting all clean with you when her toe got stuck in the tap. Her phone was going off with your messages in the bedroom. The window was above her head so tried to open it while trying not to rip her toe off.

Then she slipped and hence closed it again. Hiding from embarrasement she now won't answer your text back.

Or

She is retiring and just doesn't give a shit. Hope you find a better punt next time.

Dead escort phone or not the guy had a confirmed booking for 3.30 and he was at the right address. The fact that someone opened a window whilst he was going past proves that someone was in. I've visited the house myself and it's easily accessible from the front street, no intercom to worry about.

No one needs to phone every couple of minutes just to make sure that the girl is in, isn't having a shower, isn't still making up the bed, hasn't taken the dog for a walk, still brushing her teeth, having a pee, putting the kettle on etc etc.

How would he have felt if Lily had driven all the way to Middllesbrough to visit him on an outcall and just because she couldn't get through to him on the phone she decided to drive back to Newcastle without bothering to see him.

It has to be a negative Japseyeuk. If not, she'll be soon turning you into one of her 'pay-pigs'....

Post the negative review and get it over with... If you like, put in a caveat that this is the first time she's messed you about etc etc....

I'm straggling to believe her phone went flat and she didn't have a charger.

I was thinking this but didn't want to be the first one to say it.

The phone went flat / ran out of money on sim is the commonest excuse for double booking there is. Its literally so common its the equivalent of "Left my wallet in the car" for the guy wanting out.

If you plug the phone into the wall charger the phone comes back on within 2mins and if you keep the usb cable plugged in you can make a call easily.

Or you can plug into a PC USB port.

Hey,
Just to clarify for the sake of my many clients who read but don't feel the need to participate in discussions such as this. My normal working phone was out of use, I used an alternative and contacted the client by the number that he had provided on the booking request. I always assume that the number provided is the correct one, if it isn't then it is beyond my control when I contact a client on it and it isn't theirs. I was calling the number I had been given up until 3.30pm, as I was hoping that the client was unable to use their phone and would contact me as soon as possible. Of course I was in the house, I was waiting for said client to turn up..
The fact that I had been provided with the wrong number has been confirmed by the client, not by me sending him the number I had been texting / calling, but by him looking on the booking request and seeing that the number on it was wrong. Whether it was him that made the mistake or there has been a problem with adultwork, I'm afraid I couldn't comment on.
We have communicated by email on adultwork and have both apologised for the mix up. You are all entitled to your opinion, but in mine the issue has been resolved.
Thanks,
Lily

I'm planning on moving to Notts at some point in Septmber, with regular visits up to the NE because I'll miss 24 hour gregs too much!
Also, if anyone that's seeing me tomorrow would care to bring in a Nokia charger, you will be rewarded heavily  :angelgirl: (Kidding kidding, please don't eat me)

It still beggars belief why the guy didn't just knock on the door at the agreed time. If Lily didn't answer the door then fair enough he might have had an issue to be concerned about.

But everything seems to point to the fact that she was ready to meet him and to all intents and purposes he didn't turn up.

After all if you are going out for a drink you wouldn't phone the pub on the way there just to make sure that it was open would you.

Good point. If I have a confirmed appointment & have been given the full address then I just turn up & ring the door bell.

This Japeye Character seems like he is scared;

Scared to write a review without consensus

Scared to knock on doors

Scared to respond to people mocking him

Good luck in Nottingham Lilly may pop up as close, I have you a gift so this never happens again bad girl, doubles as a cat of nine tails.

I would have knocked on the door  she would have answered and I'd have had a great time. Can't believe you didn't do this especially as you had seen her before.

But this txt when your outside is a pet hate of my'n I much prefer the just ring the bell at the correct time approach and only txt if there is a problem. Allure agency have got it so right with this being their standard policy.
