Created new pull request which adds the ability to merge cache files, done a few tests and seems to be all good.
However, didn't want to duplicate all the extra compression logic from the worker file so if you have old caches that date before it was added - merging will add a lot of data.
Good news is though if you keep it below 5mb (which most will be so no need to worry about this) and restore it, after a few searches the worker will kick in and do the extra compression.
Then you can repeat the cycle with any other backups you have saved.
If this feature does get added - make sure to keep your backups just in case, since it's new and there could be bugs.

I thought the backups were encrypted, not just compressed?  Are the entries essentially csv's or something more elaborate?

Yes, I've had a few good results too. Works best if the provider has written a pic caption that doesn't crop up a thousand times elsewhere.

Something odd going on with cached images.
I opened the AW profile for CarleeRose External Link/Members Only  to write up a review but it was in the process of being updated and the photos had been deleted so AW Civ showed me my cached images, 3 of which were the ones for CarleeRose and then it included 3 from another SP's current published images, presumably also cached. 
I'd only opened the latter profile External Link/Members Only from this discussion https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=349828.msg3652394#msg3652394

Presumably have plenty other SP pics cached by AW Civ but none of those were shown.   

Also... cheeky, I know but any luck on reviewing Mark23j push for the Search image pre-load tweak?
If not then @Mark23j any chance you can enhance it with a "Stop preload" button on each profile in the search results so we can abort those pre-load requests for profiles of SPs we're not interested in?

@either of you:
If the "Show profiles with phone numbers only" switch is on then does this prevent image pre-loads for the hidden profiles?

A question; I notice the line in the summary e.g."Online today, joined 4 months ago" does not always appear to correspond with the more detailed readout of a SP's recent logins that I get in the MyHotlist sub menu e.g.

Does the summary know something that the MyHotlist menu does not?

I have a couple of AW logins. One just for searching and effectively disposable, and another that holds my HL etc. I tend to change them along with my punting numbers quite regularly.  Until recently, AW exposed a lot of detail that should have either been encrypted but was either in plain text or simply obfuscated.

The way the archive works, it is hard to imagine how a profile image can be mistaken for another... Could you double check? [The archived images are only visible when visiting the full profile url External Link/Members Only ]

The new features require some tweeks before they are published, the PRs are under consideration and have some comments for @mark when he next checks in to github.

Further to my above observation it turns out whomever is managing the profile actually uploaded those 3 images from Meegan x when I last checked and commented on my review.
Haven't checked to see if it's changed again.
Perhaps I caught them updating the gallery before they then set them as the 3 profile pics?

Hidden Image/Members Only

Sometimes when it's taking ages to load and display images I've hit ESC or even closed the browser tab but this doesn't seem to properly abort all the pending image request processes so my session is still hung up when I try to browse other pages that would otherwise be responsive.  Is there any more certain a way for the extension to kill image requests once the tab is closed or the page load ESCd?

I second the comment about pre-loading images jamming up the session. Either AW is having problems or (more likely) they're rate-limiting multiple connections. As it stands, the Civilizer extension is almost unusable.

Unless pre-loading is turned off or throttled back significantly, I'm likely to un-install.

I nearly always perform the same search, by gender, escorts, accommodates, region, county, town, nationality, and age so ...

It would be a massive saver of typing if the search page saved the last search and automatically filled the page next time you used it, at least for these fields.

There is a useful (geeky) discussion to be had about best practice in the use of the AW search facility, probably for elsewhere.

Running Extension version 0.307 and getting display issues, whereby all pics show as grey and numbers not showing.   When I turn off the extension, profile pics appear.     Happens in win10 chrome browser and kiwi browser android.

Seems like AW is throttling the amount of data that is called or done something to conflict with Kuck's extension.

Extension seems to have upgraded to 0.308 this morning and issue has been fixed.       thanks

I did release a fix, but seems AW isn't very performant, so it all seems slow at the moment. I'll continue to look into ways around it.

Browsers on iOS use the Safari engine (whether Brave or Chrome or anything else), and this extension only works on Chrome, don't think there's an easy path to getting it to run on the iPhone.

There's currently no buymeacoffee link, but thanks for the idea, I'll create one and post it on the extension

I'm pretty sure you'll disagree, as I notice your reviews are all 15 minute bookings - you must be exceptionally efficient!

I think the extension is awesome, though using AW with any discretion goes out the window when the massive images load at the bottom of the escorts page! 

One issue I am having though is on the number of images for download. I have looked for any FAQ but couldn't find one. To take a popular example, Hayley has 215 images and 90 movies. But the count in the civilizer is 78 total (gallery 33, movies 30, deleted 15). At other times I've seen other numbers. Is this a known effect with profiles with lots of photos or older photos?

@mh Haven't checked in the code, but iirc, 30 gallery images + 3 profile images are loaded. Really the first page of the gallery. Never thought it important to code photos from the second page of the gallery.

Being able to automatically search PG photos was useful, but that same exploit still exists if you use the search function in AW which is weird. I figured they would want that closed but I imagine not many people use it as it can be quite fiddly

Hey Kuck, our favourite Xmas coding elf.   

Any prospect of getting this merge feature/tool released?

I might try messing about with some no-code "programming" this Xmas, any documentation on the format of the cache files? 
Have they changed structure over time (you've surfaced more data from them but not sure if all was already included or some calculated) such that older files might needed appropriate "inflating"?
