Making the effort - Tidying & Refreshing the shop window ?

I have noticed that a number of WGs who seemed to rarely bother to update or refresh their profiles (including ones who have worked on regardless of the pandemic), perhaps relying on reasonable pricing and regular trade, are nevertheless recently refreshing and tidying up their profiles.

In some cases those who haven't updated their profiles for ages (and left old errors/ typos and outdated 'news' like references to Christmas and defunct tabs) are recently cleaning up their display and adjusting photos and generally making more effort than they have for a while. Other WG's are more frequently refreshing photos than they used to.

There was a thread this week observing imminent mass unemployment and general even more tightening of the belt.

i am wondering if even those WG's who have managed a steady trade somehow, are also now finding things getting thinner on the ground and clients less abundant than they have been?

My point was nothing to do with whether i liked their presentations or not, i was proposing that trade is slower than before and maybe why?

Everyone must surely have more time on their hands? Even key workers who have worked throughout would still have more free time due to not being able to spend time socialising and going out or going on holiday. Against that sort of background it's pretty ropey if escorts don't bother to tart up their profiles and update their pics/media. So, I'd expect to see profiles getting updated but I would not attribute any deep meaning to that other than it's something to wile away the time and ease their boredom.

It wouldn't surprise me if AW sent a newsletter; something along the lines of, 'hey, it's spring time - plus, the end is in sight - why not take a look at your profiles and think about a refresh'.

They are not plastic toys.  Plenty of them, I have met as humans, and care as I would for a human.  Its not like I'm a cashpoint for them, but I can't help but care at some level, even if I cannot or will not help.  Same with sob stories from SA.  I have had my transactional sex, but that's not like passing a stranger in a street: I'd like them to stick around and be good SPs, not damaged or desperate.

You've lost me with this. If an escort's business is slow due to her not updating her profile, why should that be any concern of mine.

At no point have I said I do not care for or have empathy for another human being but as far as an escort's business is concerned it has nothing to do with me.

Dude, I get where you're coming from but this sounds like some heavy EAS (Even though I'm pretty sure you're not). Most good SPs are pretty well off and the smart ones know to always save for a rainy day. They probably also have a regular they could fall back on as a Sugar Daddy if need be.

its down to personality more than the general economy, some girls are extremely lazy, other realise  a bit of tweaking, can improve business. one or two make the mistake of overwriting their profile, unaware it will repel more than it will attract. its surprising that not all realise its worth investing in some proper photoes, galleries can be a money maker.

I agree.
I would imagine it’s the imagery that attracts in the first instance.
I also agree that I don’t really care if a SP keeps her profile updated or not. It’s her business not mine.
