ALL sex parties carry a low risk of std's such as gonorrhoea and genital HSV-1 for people who don't have it already orally if you are doing OWO. And claims that the girls get tested tbh means nothing at all when they are sucking off around 30 guys a day unprotected.
Is it free to get tested? How do you book appointments with hospitals?
Regarding HSV-1, it is estimated that 80% of all adult people have HSV-1 (either in the dormant or the active state) and that ALL prossies (i.e. literally 100%) have HSV-1. Some may have it living near their oral area (the favourite area of HSV-1 that is often assumed to be the cause of cold sores), others both near the genital and oral area or in the genital area only. In most cases herpes is diagnosed in the presence of outbreaks but 80% of all herpes infected people don't experience any symptoms in their entire life. In other words, 64% of the entire population has HSV-1 and simply doesn’t know it.
If you have HSV-1 causing you cold-sores then you should worry about catch it in the genital area as it might cause you genital sores. But if you have HSV-1 living near the oral area and you are asymptomatic (i.e. no cold sores) then you will almost certainly be asymptomatic if HSV-1 is living near the genital area (i.e. no genital sores). So before you worry whether you will catch it, better make sure you don’t already have it in first place. Because it is pointless to worry about catching it if you already have it and you are asymptomatic.
As I said previously I get tested every 3 months. This quarterly test is for HIV (1 and 2), syphilis, gonorrhoea and chlamydia. This is the standard screening test and the vast majority of clinics (NHS etc) just offer tests only for these 4 STDs. This test is FREE. You can search for GUM clinic near your postcode in the following link:
External Link/Members OnlyYou usually need to call to arrange an appointment. A few clinics also allow just to pop-in and wait in the queue. A few others allow electronic booking. In any case you may use a false name if you like (no ID is required). But you need to give a valid phone number as they will contact you in case your results are +ve. Other clinics may send you a text with the results regardless of whether they are +ve or -ve and others need to be called to reveal your results. It depends on the clinic.
Personally I also annually visit a specialist clinic and pay around £300 and I get tested for ALL STDs. Note here that NHS is EXTREMELY reluctant doing the full test in the absence of symptoms. The full test includes on top of the abovementioned 4 STDs, tests for: HSV (1 & 2), Hepatitis (B & C), Trichomoniasis, Scabies, Mycoplasma (hominis & genitalium), Haemophilus ducreyi (Chancroid) and Ureaplasma. As I said previously thankfully so far all results have been clean. I guess I am just lucky.
