Author Topic: Need some help with Maps on Smartphone  (Read 566 times)

Yes, I know I am bloody stupid to use a smartphone to arrange punts but it makes it easier to find locations when I don't know the area. I use public transport for most of my punts so not wasting time asking directions is a big help.

I recently looked up an address for an upcoming punt but it opened on the pre-loaded maps app on my iphone and I can't for the life of me seem to be able to erase it.

How do prevent maps from recording previous searches and how to erase them? This topic has probably been covered before but I need a quick solution so no evidence gets left behind.

Thanks chaps.

Try chosing another location, ie: your home street, or press the small 'winglet' symbol.

If you're using Google maps and if you are signed in to a Google account on your phone, then a history is kept. Go to External Link/Members Only and you can delete the history for a particular day, or all of it.
