I've just totted up the cost of a recent over-nighter with the Mrs. An afternoon shopping, drinks, dinner and B&B at one of the more reasonable chain hotels set me back about £600. I got two fucks out of it. Makes some of these £3-400 over-nighters look jolly good value.
