It was for a meet.

Regardless of whether the guy can help me get my money back (which I doubt). I am drawing a line under this whole sorry sega. I shall forget it, use it as a learning curve and move on!

Best way mate. Suck it up, learn from it and move on. There's a lot of cunts out there but a lot of great girls too. Ask about girls on here if someone catches your eye

Yes, the OP wasn't thinking straight obviously, but we've all made mistakes and some of the replies on here would put any new poster off from ever posting again. Let's all chill and hopefully the OP can put it down to experience and wise up a bit.

I still shudder at the days before t'internet when I popped into one of the many unlicenced video shops to pick up a video of some porn, watched one on the TV, so handed over £50 only to get home and find the tape was a 1960's B&W film...

Back to the shop next day and was 'expressing my opinion' that the twat behind the counter was a fucking rip off merchant and I was getting my £50 quid back...or else...when I suddenly found myself outside on the pavement courtesy of a couple of rather large and mean looking dudes.

In a way glad this sort of board wasn't around back then in case I got called an idiot...one learns from ones mistakes !

TWYD (Think With Your Dick)

We have ALL done it.  This is NO different to that.  To paraphrase one of UKP's mantras: if you've never had a bad punt then you're probably a troll.

There's one born every minute
Wonder what she thought when he actually sent her the money first time
And then again the second time .
But as we don't know who she is the" cunt "has got away to find another victim. :bomb:

How the hell was it more profitable to employ two full time bouncers than to actually copy the porno onto the tape instead of the "1960s black and white film"?

I don't think you'll find these were 'bouncers', just the usual heavies who hang around dodgy businesses, think they were there for protection purposes as selling hc porn was against the law, swapping tapes so that you didn't walk out of the shop with porn on it meant that they were technically not breaking the law, so I imagine there was quite a demand for their services from disgruntled punters.

Crazy, I can't imagine they stayed in business in the same premises for long, with so many disgruntled customers knowing exactly where to find them, no matter how many heavies they had just hanging around.  :)
