For those with a partner, how do you explain the second phone or prevent them from finding it?
Reminds me of Breaking Bad, Walter's wife first notices something is wrong when she hears about  his second phone.
I only use one phone and carefully delete any punting texts or calls. But there are some over enthusiastic wgs who save your number and then text you at home to say they're working that day.

I have a partner and only use my personal phone, I don't see the point in a punting phone. In my 5 year punting safari I've never had any problems, I never get any unsolicited calls or text, regulars know how to contact me, and regardless every 2 years I get a new number when I upgrade.

majority of the girls use fake names and burner phones/sims so makes sense that punters should do the same but I guess sometimes the shit has to hit the fan before a person learns their lesson

Things may go fine for 5, 10, 20 years of someone not having a separate line but on that occasion that something may happen they'll wish they got into the habit of using one for all those years
