Author Topic: Cock Rings ???  (Read 3831 times)

Somewhere on here is a discussion about health, stamina , the unwanted arrival of 'Mr floppy' on occasions (!)

On the Daily Mail online yesterday there was an article about what  to buy hubbie for Xmas and the article mentioned 'strokers '
Never heard of them ( basically a wanking device ),- but during my research I saw a lot of cock rings sold by various firms,-'Love Honey'
 (UK ) and Adam and Eve ( U.S. )

Reading the reviews it would seem that as well as being very cheap they may solve a lot of problems, as well as enhancing the whole experience....has anyone used one ..and if so how do WG's react ? Can't see that it makes any difference to them , although a lot of the reviews state that it takes you longer to cum (?)

Any thoughts ?......would be interested to hear from a WG.

I don't know what the WG's have to say about it but I can tell you that cock rings are fantastic. My advice is to buy the softest one you can find, it should also be fairly wide - around 1.5inches or two-fingers width - so that the pressure is dispersed evenly. You do NOT need a lot of pressure, all you need is a little bit of >squeeze< the same as you would expect from a good hand job.

These two might be good:

Generally you'll want to wear a cock ring behind your balls not in front, although there are also twin-ring designs too.

And for a mere £3 you might as well add this to your shopping basket: External Link/Members Only
I suspect it's actually a design from a few years ago originally marketed in the US as the "not-too-deep love donut".

My experience with them is they are junk and do not work. I have bought them - as a pack of three difrerent sizes to try - from lovehoney so its personal experience I say this.

I also asked my GP about them, and the pharmacist in Asda about them before getting my viagra prescriptions off them and the consensus by both is they are junk.

@AnthG: You must have bought a bad design or very cheap hard plastic ones. You could also try a simple elastic strap (softest and thickest you can find)  with a velcro fastener stitched to it. Your GP and pharmacist are both wrong! Maybe cock rings don't work for everyone but I'd say for most men they are an enhancement.

Yes , certainly reading all the customer reviews they seem to work - well worth a try .
Some people have said that they enhance wanking ...might be worth £3  !!!

I have experimented with different types of 'cock rings' in my private life, and can confirm that the willing subjects always got very aroused, but sometimes it can lead to a premature and unexpected 'finish' :D They do nothing for me personally (I don't like vibrating toys, or any other toys for that matter), but men seem to enjoy the sensation a lot.

The best one I've tried so far is the Durex one called 'little devil', because it's nice and soft and comfortable to wear.

However, I would not use them with my clients, because on two separate occasions the toy seemed to have caused the condom to break  (might have been a coincidence, but still...), and I'd be too worried about it.

Edit: just realised the OP was asking about the non-vibrating rings, I haven't tried those yet...

My postman has been dropping me hints for years - you know, those rubber bands they leave strewn all over your front path.
Mind you, it did occur to me that he might just fancy Auntie Pokey and wanted to cause me to slip up and fall to my death so he could have his way with her.

I have experimented with different rings for a few of my clients with erection problems and can say I found the best ones to be the adjustable ones.  Basically a strip of leather or rubber tied in a slip knot or with a movable locking mechanism so that you can adjust to fit just right.  They seem to have solved their problem and now they can keep their erection all the way through.  also they are big enough for those that need them around their cock and balls rather than just their cock.

cock rings?  Tried one once as it came as a freebie with my fleshlight (sex toy for men).  Got that thing on and it did keep me hard for longer but I almost had a panic attack when I couldn't get that fucking thing off!  Not used it again, especially after what I've read on the Internet (yeh I know, not necessarily the most reliable source) about how it can cause injury to your John Thomas.

I to got a free one, it was intended for fingers only and one finger at that. No wonder you couldn't get it off.

You're brave - I'd be worried about chatting to my pharmacist about cock rings in case she slapped my face - or worse, collapsed into giggles :(

Scratch that, I just bought one and its clearly designed for a leprechaun. Far too small, in fact I'd call it dangerous.

Just make sure you use a properly sized one. Don't be like the bloke who came into A&E having shoved his cock into a brass curtain ring when my mate was on call as a Dr there.

He stuck it in when flaccid, and quickly became erect, so it was stuck on.  Only problem is that the blood enters your penis down the middle, and exits closer to the outside, which the curtain ring blocked meaning his cock couldn't go flaccid again.

The doctors ended up having to take the thing off very, very carefully using an electric surgical saw.

Personally I have no problem with my little friend staying stiff.

But recently Ive bought a Mates Vibrating cock ring in Wilkinsons (about £4) which my Civvie friend loves. Simply put it has a little battery powered bit that buzzes on her clit as you fuck  :D

Guys, I don't know if this is an individual thing (I'd guess not). But use of a ring of me has led to a downward spiral of insensitivity. To the point where I have to leave the old guy alone for over 24 hrs just to get a har on without one.

But fuck are they good! So good they are addictive! Prolonged use (edging) is def not a good idea! Use only when you need to is my advise!

If you're worried about what wg's think, I personally couldn't give a fuck about that but it is a bit awkward on a first date!
