In general terms what you should do is:

Research - read up as much as possible on this forum, which will help with your selection of WG and help avoid pitfalls.
Choose you first punt carefully, I would recommend going for a girl who has been positively reviewed on here, the chances of a bad punt will then be less likely.

Getting a punting phone - don't use your normal phone.
