Marty seemed to be quite good at worming his way into the more personal side of people's lives.

Perhaps these two were online 'friends', in which they shared personal information which was later abused.
Or perhaps they were in contact via whatsapp and therefore they both showed up on each others 'people you may know' section. In which case he would have a name and photograph, as well as any other information which might have not been private.

Yep. In the single instance when he actually WAS being bullied and I stuck up for him, his tone and manner quickly went from bewildered and wounded, to overly pally and cordial, to intrusive and nosey. I quickly shut him down.

Then he started the bullying of Elle, which by comparison to last night's episode, was pretty tame. I pulled him up on it and started putting distance between me and him.

No mcfly was on there and elsewhere, he did a mass unfollow of both at 3:43pm ish this morning, I was up working saw admins post and checked him out followers and following dropping like flies.  What are you his barrister ?

Only way would be to either hack the server or hack punters  pc's and you would need to pick one or two punters pc's to kick it off that end via other means. Both are a tall order as you need to obtain various information 
to achieve this.

Well, if nothing else, it means that UKP and the WGs will be that much more vigilant/ careful with new members/ punters approaching.
The Columbo reveal was interesting to observe... his writing style being the first clue. And it became more obvious as he was openly challenged. He tried to quieten the noise by PM'ing various members. No deal. 
The switch from clean-cut Marty to dirty mac PI avatar seems obvious now. We'll be that much more aware if he's stupid enough to try again. And he probably will.
