I visited the Nags Head on the Whitechapel Road after work last night (around 6pm). It only shows on Google maps if you zoom right in (guess they don't pay G enough!) but it's easy to find. (Take the Whitechapel Art Gallery exit(3) from Aldgate East station, turn left, cross Osborn St. and it's on your left). There is a £3 entrance charge. There were about half a dozen girls, they were OK but not stunners, who wanted £20 for a private dance and fewer customers.
The stage was lit up but no dances while I was there. They said there would be stage dances 'later' but were vague about when these would start. Several girls offered me a private dance but I declined. One had a 'wardrobe malfunction' while she was talking to me. I was tempted but I had just finished my pint and was not inclined to stay longer so I left, walked up Brick Lane for a second pint in Browns which had better girls and stage shows. One private dance later, I was on my way home.
Perhaps, I went there too early, but the Nags Head was disappointing - they need to liven it up with stage shows and drop the entrance charge, certainly in the early evening, to encourage after-work customers.
