Called her yesterday.

Usual story;

Straight to voice mail.

Text received back immediately, requesting I text her.  So she either speaks no English or there is a man handling her calls.

I text back asking where she was in Cardiff.

Reply:  Hotel, General location.

I replied politely:  Sorry I can't get to that location today.

Text received: Why are you calling then?

I sent a polite reply, but that sharp (and silly) reply put me off completely.

These Romanians sure know how to try and avoid being caught out. Just had the following text conversation:

Me: What nationality are you?
Her: European
Me: So Romanian?
Her: No, European
Me: But which country?
Her: Eastern Europe
Me: Which country in Eastern Europe?
Her: I don't understand
Me: Hungary, Poland, Romania... where are you from?
Her: Europe

Needless to say I shall not be visiting her
