It makes me smile when some punters condemn what other punters enjoy.
I can see why some find it disgusting - same with watersports, but it's each to their own. We are all different. 

Personally I find 'parties' 'disgusting'. Many punters swear by them, but I couldn't think of much worse having to share women around with other punters and  being in the same rooom whilst this is going on. Even worse, the men always outnumber the women.
Then there are punters who enjoy being kicked in the bollocks or having needles shoved into their japs eye.

Simple D&V can occur within a few hours of contact with whatever arse related thing you picked up. Giardia typically takes one to three weeks to incubate and needs antibiotic treatment, there also asymptomatic carriers.

So the WG you blame may not be the one, it could have been a few weeks ago, also from infected water, touching contaminated surfaces, eating contaminated food.

People's immune systems vary.
