The other day I was idly musing (yes, I know I should get out more ) of all the places that I have punted in UK, from Aberdeen in the north of Scotland to Brighton and Southampton on the south coast. From Bristol in the west to Ipswich in the east.

Then I took it a stage further and went international and was astonished to discover that in over 30+ years of punting I have planted my seed in 22 countries on 4 continents namely from west to east. Mexico, Belize, Scotland, England, Holland. Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Bosnia, Poland, Ukraine, Kenya, Thailand. Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Macau and The Philippines.

Anyone beat that? Probably Jerboa.

Thanks Steve but there are still notable gaps in my punting CV. Like South America particularly Brazil and Peru, Costa Rica, DR, Cuba and Jamaica, the middle east and the sub-continent. Once went close to punting at Sonnegatchi in Calcutta but chickened out at the last moment.

For me its Canada and the USA. The great thing is you get all kinds of nationalities, viet nam, italy, japan etc but a lot of them speak perfect English. Cos they have grown up in Canada. Coms are spot on which is something generally lacking here. Canada was multiracial long before uk cos they were all immigrants. We are catching up but about 100 years behind.

Behind you Vivago at only 17. Respect.  What is amazing is some of the different experiences - punting around the world is way more than different races.

My list with a few comments is UK, France (street walker that I picked up with help of the taxi driver), Italy (a stripper who took me back to hers), Spain, Germany (FKK among others), NL (windows - yes they are shit), Poland (LMR), Greece, Switzerland (an organised public brothel), Hungary, China (booked outcall to my hotel from here the first time, then met them in Sanlitun), Singapore (met her in hotel bar), USA (backpage and takeaway from lapdance clubs), Thailand (Soi Cowboy and Soapy), Puerto Rico (met in night club, 15 minute quickee in tiny room just on the side of the dance floor just for that purpose, so with deafening music still), Hong Kong, Monaco (spotted Russian pro in casino, might be most expensive ever, but bucket list ticked).

Looking forward to catching up with you - a few on my bucket list but not going to try when in the Middle East. I'll find an Arab girl in London if I need.

Puerto Rico is a territory of the US, they robbed it off of the diegos after the Spanish-American war, but it's not a state, so I'd say separate, what was punting like over there? Some of those PR girls are hot!

I've only punter in The Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand...and the UK, obviously. I feel like I need to get a few more flags in the map, but chances nowadays are few and far between.

My experience was what opened my eyes, OWO is pretty much standard or as they call it BBBJ. In the girls I have seen there was never any discussion of one versus the other. Also RO is a given or again in my experience. The quality in Toronto is like London feeding a banker bonus clientele but the girls I saw were very willing and top quality. VFM is comparable to here usually $250 per hour or £125 to £150 but being a capital city you can pay a lot more.

The only negative is the nordic model which makes punting illegal, but 1) it has had almost no impact as police only bother with street and parlours, 2) the new Canadian Govt were the party who opposed the December 2014 legislation so I don't think it is actively enforced and 3) impossible to enforce unless a bait and switch.

I hope to be going in May, if you want a recommendation see Piper, she exhausted me in 1 1/2, I was....fucked

No, there are still many beautiful girls left in Poland as a walk down any Warsaw street will confirm. The big problem, I found, was language. Not many girls speak much English. There are saunas/MPs but the route I took was Odloty which is the Polish version of AW. You just have to trawl through a selection of girls looking for English speakers and then ring a few. I've heard that b&s switch is a problem although the two I tried were gen. Service was quite good if not memorable.

I used to travel in Africa for work quite a bit, so plenty of opportunities. Also plenty of con-merchants in Africa, so you need to be careful. Bar girls in good quality hotels are/were expensive, but finding other places can be tricky. My favourite was Kampala (airport is actually in Entebbe, but nothing much there) - there are several bars teeming with WGs, and for us, really reasonable. I seem to remember it working out at less than £20 - one girl suggested getting her friend to join us - when I hesitated she said she could get her for half what I had already paid her, but I mustn't let on! She duly went back to the bar and brought her back - A threesome for about £25 IIRC

Nigeria, well in Lagos you're almost a prisoner in your hotel, so it was a bar girl where I was staying. Probably expensive for the region, but I didn't have a choice, and I don't remember it being that expensive.

Tanzania, as with all the other countries, if the girls want to get work, they speak pretty good English.

She said that she was an unemployed hairdresser and had the sort of figure that, had, heretofore only featured in my wettest dreams. And she was all mine for a week for less than £150. Unbelievable. Pity that coastal Kenya has become such a security nightmare for visitors.

An easy Africa trip for first timers would be Gambia.
Banjul region and an area called Senegambia.

Thomas cook do a package - hotel sarges - right on "the strip" - costs £10 to bring a girl into your room and the price for the girl should be covered with another £10 ish for the night.

Gambia is a lot more gfe rather than smash and move on.

Was booked for Monbassa/mtwapa but then the Somalians started chucking grenades around and the uk get cancelled our holiday.

From an appearance viewpoint I'd have to agree, unfortunately when I was in Addis Ababa I didn't get a chance to punt. I still remember some years later a stunning tall slim girl serving in the hotel - she wore really tight trousers that I can still visualise clearly today  . I was taken to a bar one evening by a local business colleague, all the girls were indicating for me to go and 'talk' to them. I felt cramped by my colleague's presence and to my dismay didn't do anything - I think these days I would have told him 'I'm going in' and gone for it!

I've fond memories of the York Hotel, and the Arif Castle was much like the 'four floors of whores' in Orchard Towers - different bars with different nationalities.  Bahrain was pretty lively a couple of years ago, nearly all asian girls but right up my alley.

Mtwapa is a cool place to stay. Its where all the cheap apartments are and therefore a viable and much more economical option than Bamburi about 5 km away. It is also where most of the girls live so you are at source.

Don't know about Lambada but Big Tree is right on the beach and one of the recognized pick-up hotspots. Saying that, I found that the best girls were the amateurs to be found on the beach during the daytime. That was how I met Mary, the girl pictured.

I'm sure that I did write trip reports but they would be outdated by now so not a lot of use. I've no doubt that the place has changed a lot since since travel advisories were issued last year. Tourist numbers must have plummeted and the folk whose livelihood rely on them (including the girls) hurting bad.

My first "punt" , if you can call it that, was in Nigeria when I was a totally dumb 26-year old and I was as horny as hell when she knocked on the hotel door.  She more or less attacked me and I more or less let her!  Not my most enjoyable experience.  Many years (and a few civvies and a marriage) later I had a great time with a Russian girl in one of the stans.  She was great during the evening on the dance floor and at the bar but I was so inebriated when we got back to my room that I couldn't manage it, but my business partner had paid her to spend the night with me so she did.  Now much older and wiser I have limited myself over the last couple of years to 4 WGs on AW (all of whom were great) and a few in the US - one of which was such a boner-killer that I walked out after 2 minutes - losing what I had paid.  Over such a large number of years I don't know if that makes me an international punter, and I CERTAINLY can't rival Vivago!
