Accepted you say? I do not see them represented in "mainstream" society of their countries. They seem to be cordoned off as spectacles from what I have seen and reduced to work in the sex industry and met with serious discrimination. In the West, discrimination is minimal and they are promoted as equals, even above cis gender humans these days. In the places I mentioned they are not on the same grounds as a cis gender in day to day living compared to the West. My point still stands.
