Can't believe I missed this one off the list - too bloody obvious!

Along with most mentioned above i have to nominate James Arthur.
He wins a million quid on xfactor and fucks rita ora, when he gets dumped he cries like a bitch in his book.
Plus he chews every word he says trying to sound cool.

Give me a million and rita ora for a month ffs.

It seems being an arrogant prick ( like Schumacher ) is how a lot of people get ahead in sport and business.  I have worked with so many people that are just so arrogant.   They usual come into a very senior role, last 2 to 3 years and then feck off to another company.  It’s as if being arrogant is their only skill.

Perhaps rather than naming them one by one we'd just be better off saying 99% of boxers are just arrogant pricks, seems like a prerequisite for stepping into the ring  :unknown:

Yeah they come in so full of themselves that people seem almost scared to challenge them so they end up getting their own way and changing things then fuck off before it all comes crashing down and people realise the changes that appeared to give good results short term actually fucked things up long term

Clearly not met many boxers then. Due to my line of work I have met many over the years, some household names and many others who don't get to that level. The vast majority are humble, down to earth blokes that never had much growing up and found boxing as a way to earn a living and keep them away from trouble.

He's still a prick in my eyes.
Goes into tackles with malice and breaking a players legs on purpose.

Then tried to beat kids when they give him sick in the street.
Now he's a pundit he can't even give any respect to those who deserve it.
Apart from that he was a good player

I do wonder if Michael Owen has some kind of condition. He seems to lack any kind of tact. Apparently in the dressing room after Newcastle got relegated the players were sat in a depressed silence and Owen said "So is anyone going anywhere nice on holiday?". It's impressive that after being such a great player he seems to be despised by the fans of every club he played for. He lost the Liverpool fans after he went to Utd. I don't think he deserved the Ballon D'or in my opinion.

Good shout with John Terry. Sleeping with your mate's wife is super scummy (although Giggs said "hold my beer" when someone said you couldn't get worse than that). I remember seeing him on "Play To the Whistle" and during his introduction they were lauding all his achievements and I would have loved it if they said at the end "And he cheated on his wife by sleeping with his mate's wife".

Connor McGregor I agree with.

Can take or leave the other ones. Don't mind Rooney as must have been tough dealing with all the press intrusion and criticism. I know he got paid shit loads but still hard to put up with relentlessly and I think he just wanted to play football. Same applies to Andy Murray I think.

What did Grealish do?? haha

Owen only signed for Newcastle so he would get regular game time to keep him in the England squad,  they stuck by him through his injuries but he gave absolutely nothing back and pissed off as soon as he could.

He asked Axxxxx, who he's a pundit for, not to send him to cover Newcastle games because he feared for his safety of the reception he would have got.

Offline The0neAnd0nly

I'm sure Michael Owen is adamant hes seen less then 5 movies or something stupid like that in his life.

It's like on dating apps when a girl states shes never had a cup of tea in her life. Cant trust anyone who's never had a cuppa or watched so few movies he can count then on one hand!!

Vinnie Jones

Totally agree. Won international caps playing for Wales no less, unbelievable!!

Offline CanOfRedBull

This thread all started with the name ‘’Novak Djokovic’’, he has now won his court battle.

Djokovic’s lawyers argued the cancellation was unreasonable - the government conceded this, and judge Anthony Kelly also agreed. The judge ordered the immediate release of the Serbian tennis player.

Will he play in the Australia Open that starts on 17th Jan and if he does what sort of reception will he get?

Offline Private Parts

I think the Appeal court, Victoria State government, Tennis Australia and Novak think a lot of themselves.
Australia is a federal country. The People’s opinions matter.

We will see!

I agree about John Terry. Arranged to be substituted at a certain time in his last match for Chelsea so he could be clapped off with a guard of honour which is a bit ironic considering he has none (shagging his team mates wife). Not forgetting  when he changed into his kit and joined in the team celebrations after Chelsea won the Champions league  despite not playing in the game because he was banned. A prize arsehole if their ever was one.

Jack Wilshire.

Think he’s the dogs bollocks because he had one great game against Barcelona 10 years ago and is wondering why nobody wants to take him on.  Apparently he’s arrogant off the pitch and used to smoke like a chimney.

He did score that wonder goal against Norwich on the opening game of the season which is always fondly remembered but another who let the media hype around them go to their head.

As this unfolds it would appear to be a bureaucratic cock up between the Australian tennis authority in particular and the Government, over exactly what the regulations are.
It looks like the ABF royally cocked-up in their treatment of Novax.  His lawyers presented evidence of abuse of process by ABF, and the prosecution promptly agreed.  The court didn't even get to look at any evidence of whether he had a valid exemption or not, let alone make a decision on it!  What a farce!

The Aussie government could still decide to deport him, but it would look very much like an act of spite if they do.

Don’t like Novak but he should be allowed to compete.  Love him or loathe him, he is an elite player and makes the tournament better by being able to play in it.

Elite player or not, he has tried to buck the system and thereby the Australian people.

He does not carry much support other than the myopic.
